The Hideout is a Marion icon. Food and service is always good
Atmosphere is great. We enjoy it. A word of caution. If you have a shellfish allergy be sure to tell your server. They cook the Blooming Onion in the same oil they cook shellfish in. One of our party had a reaction. Took several hits of Benadryl to calm things down. Allergies aside you will enjoy the Hideout.

We had reservations for 2 at 7:30, arrived at 7:26. We were asked to sit and wait for a table. Approximately 12 minutes later we were seated at a table. The waitress was decent but lacked on refills. A New York strip and a 6oz filet were ordered both medium. The New York strip is was perfect. The filet on the other hand identified as a Michelin tire. The waitress replaced it through no fault of her own. For the price in the area this restaurant is in, there is no excuse. We have had 3 visits to the restaurant and this visit was the worst by far. I hope to see the quality return to normal.

The hideout brings a classy and elegant experience to dinning in a small town! Food was cooked to perfection. We both had the dish called Wiggle Water 10oz NY strip and 4oz lobster tail. The flavor of the strip was phenomenal no need for A1 or Heinz 57 here. I appreciate the waitress patience with us as we decided on wine she was extremely helpful.

This is a cool little place we accidentally ran across in Marion Illinois on one of our adventures it's about 15 minutes from Black Diamond Harley-Davidson! It's a little pricey but worth checking out!
Food is delicious 😋

Celebrated my husband's birthday here and enjoyed everything. Good food, great service. Steaks were prepared well, and the side dishes were tasty. The complimentary chocolate cake with ice cream was delicious, too. A very happy birthday dinner overall. Glad we visited and will return the next time we're in the area.

An easy location to get to we arrived around 4:45 pm and it was already getting busy. We didn’t have reservations so they sat us over in the bar area. No problem as it was more secluded and quiet than the open dining room. The decor is of a 1920’s Speakeasy with all employees dressing the part as well. My wife had a 6 oz. Flat iron steak cooked to medium well and the chef nailed it. I had Cajun chicken with a slab of baby back ribs and a side of baked sweet potato. Chef nailed that one too. The Cajun was not overly spicy and the chicken was as moist as I’ve ever eaten. The ribs fell off the bone and had a nice BBQ sauce that was slightly sweet. An overall great food experience. They also have a piano bar with live music playing. I’ll suggest that if you go later in the evening to make reservations.

The music was a little loud. My steak was ok, the fries were very plain. Potato skins were good.

This was incredible. Hunter is the best staff member I have ever met in the foodservice industry. The live piano was a breath of fresh air. The steak and asparagus were perfectly cooked and seasoned. You have to be absolutely perfect in my book to earn 5 stars and this was a 6 for me.

Ordered two lobster tails. They were cold and one of the tails was so mushy I was afraid to eat it. Took a long time to get our food. Will not be going back.

Josh P. Was an incredible host/waiter. He was very engaging and so informative about the food, wine and passionate about his role. We hope to get him again the next time we come through Marion Illinois. Thanks Josh P. For being who you are.

Such a great relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to eat at for a special occasion or just after a long day. The NY Strip steak paired with a baked potato is hard to beat!
