One of the best Cracker Barrels I've been to! So glad it's my hometown one! Demetrius is an excellent waitor and always makes eating at the Marion store a pleasure. Food is always hot, fresh and tasty!!

I have eaten at cracker barrel for years, and never had a bad meal. This place was horrible. Food was ice cold. Pickles tasted like fish. Server agreed. Manager was a real jerk, our server was nice.

Stopped today and had a meal with family. The waitress was great, the food was very good and the wait time was minimal.Kid-friendliness: Staff were good to our 10 year old grandson.
There was a toddler’s cup on the floor with substantial crumbs all neath my chair. The waitress was obviously over it. Our lantern wasn’t lit. The menu was sticky. It was dark.

Food was good and filling. It’s classic comfort food. Our server was sweet and friendly but seemed new. As to atmosphere, the place was freezing but we find the antiques and shop fun to look at.Vegetarian options: Honestly there’s really nothing vegetarian here. I get the hash brown casserole without the meat.

I've always had a consistently good experience at cracker barrel. The gift shop is a little overpopulated with frivolous items, but I'm not there for the gift ahop.

We were seated approximately 6:55 PM 04/09/24 at Marion IL Cracker Barrel. 5 minutes later a server came to take our order.Our order of drink/food was given at the same time. The coffee was brought lukewarm, never mentioned it to the server. 20 minutes later the server brought biscuits/gravy to get us some food as the kitchen was slow. The refill on coffee was hot which was better. The Maple Bacon Chicken plate was ordered with sour dough bread. No bread came. The food was good, just seems that service has problems. This is not the first time we have experienced this.The entrees came 35 minutes after ordering. When asked at checkout how our visit was I said not the best....didn't have time to speak with management.

My wife liked the grilled trout for lunch, today. My fried catfish was a disappointment but the rest of my lunch was good. They were very busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes.
