I'm originally from Indianapolis, IN and I moved to So. IL 3 years ago. Don Sol is hands-down the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to in America, having visited Mexican restaurants all over the country as well as Cabo San Lucas, MX. Don Sol is the closest to authentic Mexican that you can get in this region. Don Sol's service is unmatched and always fast. As I'm typing this review, I'm at the Marion location and our food came out 5 MINUTES AFTER ORDERING on Saturday night. The food is always delicious, fast, and the service staff is so friendly and accommodating. Tonight Diego offered us the guacamole Mexicano and I am so impressed by this authentic version of guacamole that most people are unfamiliar with. This is something real special. We love Don Sol!!

Great food and good service for our group. First time visiting: working in town from out of state. Friendly, courteous service and good food with generous portions.
Horrible service because there isn’t any service at all. After waiting and waiting I finally had to go to the front and ask if someone could take our food order. It’s unfortunate, it’s cute place and very clean. The food was good. Maybe it was just an “ off” day and someone else will have better luck.
