My wife and I eat here on occasion and normally, the Indian man and woman (who I assume are the owners) are friendly, but not tonight. My wife went in to get a buffet box to go, and as she was filling it up, the Indian woman asked my wife if she was "filling it up for just her or her whole family" and then proceeded to get her husband from the back. They both approached her and told her that she was taking too much food and it would not be allowed next time. They rudely asked my wife, "Do you know how much food costs these days?" and stopped her from adding more food to her to-go box. When my wife came home, she was super upset and embarrassed about the whole situation. The to-go box was not overly stuffed or anything like that. The top of the box closed easily on its own. Just to note, Indian Delight charges 23 dollars for a to-go box from the buffet, and we always give them 25 even though we are just getting it to-go. This is close to double what any other buffet to-go box costs, and then they want to try to limit how much food you can take? Needless to say, we will not be supporting India Delights business anymore. And to the owners, you mentioned only 3 people have been there to eat today. You might want to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself if the reason you have only had 3 customers today is because of your rude and disrespectful behavior. I promise anyone else you do this to will also never eat at your restaurant again.

Really good and extremely friendly service. We got the dinner buffet which is an amazing deal and so good. The buffet was 50% vegetarian with a lot of amazing options. Would be a regular if I lived closer

There is no menu to order from, it is buffet only. The buffet is small with a limited selection. That being said, the food is really good. It is a little pricey for a buffet. It is definitely nice to have the option for some Indian food here. You have to park at the end of the block and walk, but it's not far at all.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They were quick to assist us in every way. The food was great. Highly recommend and will return in the future.

I will say though that we weren't sure where to park.

Great little Indian restaurant in a small town. The owners were always friendly and welcoming. The food was good. You get unlimited Naan. It's a buffet restaurant with 4 or 5 vegetarian options and a couple of meat options.

Vegetarian options: It's a buffet with plenty of vegetarian options.

Very mom-and-pop, like eating in your grandparents' house. "The Indian Bonnie Cafe" The buffet offers 7-8 hot dishes, a few cold garnishes, and desserts. The entree dishes had layers of spices that come together into a satisfying whole. I enjoyed the chana masala, a red pepper dish, and the meatballs. Spice level was just right for me. Service was prompt and friendly. Seemed a bit pricey for what was offered but still a great choice for dinner and worth a try.

Vegetarian options: Half the dishes on buffet were meatless

Great Indian buffet. You come in and seat yourself, and after the kind servers check in, you can get to work on the buffet. I hear the menu changes up, but I’d be happy with just the ones they had tonight. Delicious, spicy, dishes. Naan was great, too! Cozy, casual atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: Most dishes are vegetarian, only two tonight had meat in them.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is phenomenal and the customer service is even better! We are always greeted warmly and the owners always remember how much our son loves their naan! Our favorite is the tikka masala, but we are always excited to try the other selections on the buffet.

Best Indian food that I have had in Illinois (including Chicago)! The tandoori chicken was well worth the wait! The lamb saag, dal makhani, and mattar paneer were excellent.

Vegetarian options: Large selection of vegetarian options with a dedicated section on the menu.

Parking: Parking is around back.

Not my cup of tea. Most of the food too spicy for my stomach.

First time dining here and definitely won’t be the last. The food was fabulous—fresh, abundant, artfully spiced and just some of the most delicious we’ve had in a while. The couple running this restaurant were so friendly and attentive. The dining area isn’t much to look at but for authentic Indian food this good I would probably chow down in the garage if necessary. Seriously.

The food is amazing and I like a buffet. Price is higher but worth it. The space could use some updating but not going to keep me from coming to enjoy the great food.
