course was in excellent condition. it's a looong course. couple of par 4s over 420 yards. lots of annoyingly well placed bunkers. overall a great challenge

I was there for my second time to attend a conference. The facilities are nice and comfortable. It looks like a pretty course, and has been busy both times I've gone.

My husband and I just played 5 holes at this course and the conditions were so bad we left. You can hardly stick your tee on the ground because the ground is so hard. The cart path is honestly quite dangerous, crab grass all over the fairway. We booked 18 holes and asked for a refund for the back 9 and they only offered a rain check. We have played courses that are $35 dollars and were in better shape. I’m a little sick at how much money we wasted here today. For all the sponsors of the course, i would be embarrassed to have my company name tied to these conditions for the price that is paid.

I worked with Maddie for my daughter’s bridal shower. She was absolutely amazing. The entire event ran smoothly, the food was delicious, and Maddie and her staff were the sweetest to our guest. Highly recommend working with her for all your event needs!

This review will probably get deleted as it seems many negative ones have… I have tried to give this place so many chances after moving here a year ago and hearing how nice it’s going to be or is.

In no way should this course be charging $65 or more for a round of golf. Cart fee alone is $25! We’ve had nothing but clear skies and a few weeks of rain before that so we expected the course to be in “championship” condition with the way other courses in the area are shaping up this time of year (late July) We were so wrong!

To start, the driving range may as well be mats only cause there’s no grass on the practice tee. Massive bare spots in the fairway as well, with the fairways almost playing to rough length in some areas where grass is growing, bare spots covered in sand on greens, standing water in fairways (we’ve had no rain for over a week) bare and splotchy tees, and cart paths that are liable to throw your back out because of how broken down and gross they are.

After living here a year and playing almost all the courses in the area including this one a handful of times, I can confidently say the only thing this place cares about is turning profit to support the owners other numerous ventures… they won’t get another dime of my money. Take your money to one of the numerous public courses in Carbondale or Murphysboro instead; you’ll be left much more content!

Course is in terrible condition. The driving range is all dirt. The tee boxes are all dirt no grass growing on them at all. The bunkers had grass growing in them. The fairways are all patchy you can't have a clean lie with grass. I'm an avid golfer and you're better off playing golf in a corn field. The greens are SUPER slow. The cart paths are all beat up. For the price of $65 plus it's not worth it, it's a $25 course at best. There's been a ton of rain to make the grass grow and there's none growing!

Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Kept suggesting the conference I'm in town for made the reservation for Arizona. Due to flooding it may have been cancelled, but they sure didn't extend a nice welcome to keep me around ...

Top notch course. The entire team that works at and runs this course does an excellent job. Highly recommend you check out this course when you are in Marion.

Played there yesterday after they had quite a bit of rain earlier and the course was in great shape. Bunkers, greens, and fairways were perfect and we were off the path as it drained really well.
