Was lied to about the price of my order over the phone. I get their to pick it up and it was $15.00 more. Not so much the problem. But the writing is not straight, there are finger marks in it. So not happy. They were my last resort, and now I know why. Walmart would have done better.

Baked goods are delicious and I've always had a good experience here, however I feel like the hours on the website aren't accurate since I look at the website it says "open" I arrive and it's closed. Which is frustrating to waste time going all the way there for nothing. Try to work on that.

I’d give a zero if possible. We ordered a 2 dozen of cookies a month in advanced for a party. We came to pick up the cookies and we were rudely told the order was never placed. I have call proof of it being placed. I was told I should have called again to make sure YOU guys actually placed the order. We were told basically too bad and it’s our problem. A simple sorry and telling us you were gonna make the cookie no problem would have risen. But no. We asked well do we get a discount over the inconvenience? I was told well no it’s not our fault your order isn’t here? Ok well it’s not mine either I called and placed the order and it was not fulfilled. I have children at a hotel waiting on cookies that are an hour and a half late and they are sloppy and the icing is caked all over the bottom. The cookies were a disappointment. And the worst part is I LOVE LARRYS this is a true disappointment not returning.

If you have a low immune system I wouldn’t suggest Larry’s house of cakes. As someone who has just gotten through working there I’m personally concerned with the cross contamination. Phones and dirty rags being set on the same counters where we prepare food. I have seen people put food bare on that same counter without any parchment then prepare to serve. No gloves when handling food ever, normal to see people handle their phones, earbuds, cash/credit cards then handle food with bare hands. I personally wanted to use gloves because it protected my hands from handling food I was just using to handle cash. I was told however that this was okay and was privately told not to wear gloves due to cost. Upon being hired I was warned I was going to get sick. That should not be the case! Anyone who has a food handlers license knows that having one counter in the back where all of those items are set in the same place without wiping/washing is a hazard. We were told to only wipe down the back counters once at the end of the day, and only on the areas where there were any noticeable marks. Boxes that are dropped on the floor? Picked up and used. Big holes in the bags of the cupcakes on the wrack being told that it’s fine and to reuse them. Larry’s house of cakes sweets are good don’t get me wrong, I personally would eat them because I grew up in a rough environment where the option to clean food was non existent, just wanted to warn anyone else out here who could actually be potentially be negatively affected.

We don't come here very often since we live an hour away, but it seems to us this place has gone way downhill. There is no way the donuts we bought today were made fresh this morning. They were hard and dry on the edges like an old donut! We got 2 boxes and they were all at least 2 days old. The donut holes were also dry, hard, and the icing had come off. A few years ago they had great donuts but the cookies were nasty. Then about a year ago the donuts were not as great and the cupcakes were soo old they were not edible. Now, after today, I wouldn't come back here again. It's not worth it to pay such high prices for old donuts. Even Casey's has better and fresher donuts than this. And that's sad.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp but there's not a lot of room inside.
Got a birthday cake here yesterday for my boyfriend and he loved it. It came out so pretty and was really good. Love the people and the atmosphere as always too
