The Log Cabin Tavern is one of my favorite places to go. The food is great, atmosphere is great, great bands on the weekends, daily drink specials, and I've met some great people there. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it!
Husband and I found this gem yesterday! When we entered for our late lunch the gal behind the bar stated to sit where ever we liked. She immediately brought over menus and took our drink orders. Had a few questions and she answered them in full detail. Our food was brought out in a timely fashion. It was hot and smelled as good as it tasted. Shrimp Poor Boy for me and Philly Steak for hubby. We had excellent service. I had a garlic burger with fries. My husband had the special which was a BBQ rib sandwich topped with slaw, came with their house chips. Everything was delicious. I must add that the chips were by far the best we've had. Perfectly cooked, crispy not hard and chewy like others we've had.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating areas are very nicely done.
