Went through drive through near close and the workers were extremely kind and efficient. Just had to wait a few minutes on fresh chicken which was very good. The man at the window was very sweet and communicative.

Steak & Shake on the whole has lost the heart of what made it great. But this location on this evening had the grossest lemonade from a soda machine I've ever seen. Black chunks of something floating in it! Mystery green stuff on the ice dispenser lever. Hardly anyone in the dining room. The workers were kind, but obviously busy and I only saw 2 in the entire place (one for the drive through and serving the meals, one cooking). Tables were clean, but chairs were ok. Whole place looks like it could use a scrub down. The beef tallow fries don't taste as good as the old recipe did. Food was ok, but not great. Kid cups are so small, kids had to get multiple refills to get through the meal.
