Headed here for a Saint Valentines dinner and was very glad we spent our night at Ryan's. Food was delicious and service was on point.

Been wanting to stop here for a long time simply based on the photos! Bacon Jam Burger with blue cheese did not disappointed!! 0ne of the best burgers I've ever had. Hubby had the pork tenderloin and said it was great too. We will be back for sure.

Tried Ryan’s Eatery for the first time after seeing rave reviews on the Joliet Restaurant Group FB page. While the food was really good, the service was incredibly slow. We waited just over one hour for our food, getting many apologies from our waitress for the delay. If you’re gonna make us wait that long, at least give us a bread basket or something! Sorry, but we won’t be back.

Such a great little find in a little town near Illini State Park. We went on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. There are only 7 tables that range from 5 people to 12 at each. Food choices are very wide ranging and cover all animal proteins, along with 4 specials each night. Met the owner, Jim Ryan, as he came out to talk with each table. Funny, easy going guy. Our server, Kristen, was new there, but experienced in serving. She was very interactive and fun and knew all details of the menu. My wife and I shared the onion rings, which is enough for 4 people, and we shared the entree, cajun pasta with andouille sausage and shrimp, which was more than enough for 2 of us to share and was only $22.

Everything on the menu is handcrafted, not your typical small town diner frozen entree experience.

Can't wait to come back and try other things. Place is small. Make a reservation and BYOB.

We had a group of seven and we all enjoyed our meal at Ryan’s. Our server was Hailey and she did an amazing job taking care of everything we needed and recommended great options for our dinner. We also appreciated being able to bring our own beverages. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Kid-friendliness: They did a terrific job taking care of the two year-old in our party.

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The food was outstanding and plentiful with very reasonable prices. We had the onion rings and dirty fries, pork tenderloin sandwich and a burger. All were delicious, service was fast, and we brought a lot of food home. Highly recommend this little gem.

Just fantastic! A friend and I were biking on the I&M Canal Trail and came into town for lunch. Thrilled to have found this place. Charming space, delightful staff (a true family passion project), and delicious food at incredibly reasonable prices.

This is worth a stop if you are in town and, for that matter, a trip to Marseilles just to eat here.

This has become one of my go-to spots when I visit back home. Very good quality ingredients and the dishes are typically a little pricier than what you would typically pay in Ottawa or Marseilles but it is WELL worth it due to the quality of ingredients and freshness. First time I got the chicken Parm and it was some of the best I have had. Last time I got a lobster, shrimp, and angel hair pasta dish that was on special and it was one of the best things I have ever ate in my life. If you haven't checked this place out yet then you have to. They are BYOB so you can bring your own beer or wine or mixed drinks.

Everything we had was fresh and delicious. The chicken was so well cooked-moist and tender. Salad was perfect and fries hot and crispy.
