Good fried chicken and nice people. I am conflicted with the atmosphere. This could really be lively on a weekend. However, the sitcom playing [a bit loud) on the TV during the week was distracting.
We needed a quick place to get a bite before part of group had to head back north. It was a great choice. The Ziggy burger was fantastic! The tenderloin was huge and delicious.

My wife and I took "South" off the I-80 and found ourselves at Ziggy's just 3.2 miles later. We had a great lunch, cold beer and enjoyed speaking with the owner and bartender. Fried chicken is exceptional. Darn good cheese curds too!

Food was less than subpar, even for a bar, and the menu was dwindled to maybe 5 items written sloppily with chalk. Prices were even more outrageous for the crappy food we did receive. We ordered two orders of nachos, which were rung up as fries and were shrugged off when the mistake was revealed when the food was delivered to the table. Now I like onion, but be prepared not to go near anyone for a while when you get an entire slice of onion on your burger. Not a ring or two after the onion had been sliced, NO. THE WHOLE SLICE OF RINGS. Ordered Sprite, but it was straight carbonated water and wouldn't attach a new bag of syrup, so we were forced to choose a different drink. Service was even worse. Their system for orders was to order at the bar, and once ready, a waitress would come out and yell out your name. Understandably, it was during their annual bike rally, but even with that, it was horrible. Imagine a filled bar with bikers and veterans and their families. It's already loud. One would think to use a system with table numbers or order numbers on a stand for customers to take back. The jacked up costs for the event going on in town during the weekend were a shame.
