Love this plane and lunches are very reasonable but we've never had dinner there. Only flaw is children allowed in there and I like bar food just to not have to deal with children but I get it. They used to have the best French fries they made themselves but they stopped making their own. They were the best French fries and I'm a French fry master!

Walked in with a small party on an absolutely packed night. They rearranged things so we only had a very brief wait. During this, the host was friendly and engaging. Wait staff all seemed to actually enjoy their jobs and made sure that we all had a great experience.

Big group of friends drove an hour up to eat here. Didn’t disappoint one bit! Everyone loved the food they ordered. I tried the breaded hot honey chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Susan was our server and she explained everything pretty well since it was our first time. She was pretty funny! Highly recommend trying them out.

The best pork tenderloins anywhere, it doesn't matter if they are grilled or breaded, excellent in either case. Their desserts are always great and almost always twice as much as I can eat, and I like to eat. Their prices are reasonable. There homemade kettle chips are fantastic. Frankly, it is my favorite place to eat. I lived in a larger city most of my adult life, but moved back to the Marshall area a few years ago, so I don't know the exact history of the Silo, but my understanding is that it started out as a meat market and deli (which I think they still do to some degree as a sideline), but my parents owned a little Mom and Pop grocery store in a nearby town that people would drive miles to get their meat. I assume the owner is still the same person as the one who opened the meat market, but he mentioned in a local newspaper that my Dad and their grocery store (both my parents and the grocery store are no longer with us) was his inspiration for opening it. So the Silo also has a special place in my heart that is completely separate from my feelings about the Silo in general.

If you dine in at the silo the food is decent most of the time But if you order the food to go it is almost always a bet that it will be wrong either not having what you ordered or just wrong in the way of asking to not have a certain condiment added or it could be over cooked and dry even possibly the combination of all three. It is not cheap to eat here so to have so many screw ups EVERYTIME you order is unacceptable.
Heard this place was great. We are staying at a VBRO from our of town. They wouldn't answer phone, cannot order on terrible website, and when I tried to go in to order carryout they so not serve carryout after 5PM on weekends. Terrible customer service.

Always great! Told my friends about the good deals and great food and they brought more friends. One friend even got a cotton candy margarita. I didn't know they had such a thing. I always get the T-Rex. Sooooooo amazing. Their fries and seasoned and delightful. Their homemade chips....wow. Generous portions, great pricing, and every thing tastes so good. What more information is really needed? I would post a picture, but I always eat half before I think of it.
