We are from just south of Kankakee and were in town for a funeral. We decided to eat before heading back so we decided on The Silo. It turned out to be a good choice. Food is very good, good BBQ choices and the hostess/server Susan is so down home friendly and helpful, especially with making accommodations for my husband who is handicapped. Thanks Susan. Btw, the chocolate cake with the buttercream frosting is s-o-o-o delicious! You got to get you a piece! ?

We had a wonderful dinner at Silo this evening. Recommendations made by our fabulous waitress Susan were perfect! She always has a smile and s amazingly efficient. We love the food and atmosphere, but having Susan as our waitress always brings us back!

I always try to give local business a good rating. The waitress was very nice and the atmosphere was also. I didn't give 5 stars because the place was cold! I don't think there was any heat? Besides that we had a half order of Meat Nachos that was huge and everyone was pleased with their food. We'll go back.....Just when it's a little warmer. ?
