If you want a walk back in time to a simpler way of life , you will love this place! Old rehabed corner grocery store. Plain and simply hamburgers veggie burgers, barbecue pork, chicken sandwiches. A variety of chips and drinks, including the old-fashioned type soda in glass bottles . They have potato & macroni salads, slaw, etc... once you get your sandwiches, you can add whatever fixens you want. Sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, and dill and / or sweet pickles that taste...
Get there early to beat the crowd. And pay attention to what you order. Those burgers are HUGE! It was a beautiful day to set under the trees and visit with people from all over the area. Such a neat place. And I could never pass up a Fanta in a glass bottle ?.
Super fun adventure but the burgers were dry as a desert and cheese wasn't even melted. Polish sausage was cold too. We've made this trek for decades but that was probably my last trip.
