The Barnyard Tap is the neatest little place you will ever go to. Me and my fellow motorcycle bud found it on one of our motorcycle rides. It is in a small town with a little over 300 people, just off highway 1 (N. EAST ROAD) at: 106 W Main St. In Martinton, IL 60951. About a dozen miles South of Illinois Route 17 and 9-10 miles West of the Indiana border. A quiet family type place with good food and beverages. Sometimes live bands might even show up!

I went in for a beer and the bears game and was given a master class on how to be friendly and welcoming to strangers! Don't hesitate to drop in if you're not local.

Bartender didn't check on us. I asked for tots to be crispy which they were. The chicken patty sandwich was over cooked.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and accessible washroom.

I had the version of a patty melt. It was so good. Prices weren't to bad either. It's a good place to eat.

Wonderful staff and friendly patrons. If I lived a bit closer I'd be here all the time. Looking forward to the next time I'm passing through.
