The food is never consistent. Special on Wednesday is wings. No wings when we did finally find something on the menu. we was served half frozen cheddar poppers. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak. It was served on a hamburger bun. I don’t believe it’s the food or the bar’s fault. I believe it is the employees they are hiring for evening shifts. During the day is completely different than the evening there.

Great Cod Cut ups only served on Friday nights. Their hush puppies are home made and are almost like dessert! Its a small bar atmosphere, nothing to brag about, but the fish and pups are outstanding. I believe they have music on Tuesday evenings.

One of the best places around for fresh cooked food. Fish, chicken, burgers, taco's, all exellent along with great prices.

The Fay Inn is a tiny restaurant located ten minutes south of the interstate in a small town (Fayetteville) at the junction of state routes 15 and 4. If you blink, you could miss it...which you be a mistake. It is one of those small, one-of-a-kind tavern where 99% of the diners are local and where the food is both inexpensive and taste satisfying. From great fried chicken to cheeseburgers who put the fast food varieties to shame, the Faye Inn provides a very satisfying menu for the whole family. It is not pretentious (think of this as a small town answer to Cheers), but you just might find yourself making excuses to make a detour to come back the next time you're passing by on I-64.
