This place is a hidden gem. Came to the area for an event at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex. Had dinner here the night before. We've come here every year three years running. Had the prime rib every time. Service is great, food is spot on. Got a rustic cabin type vibe and there was live music outside. Would have cost twice as much in Chicago. We'll be back next year.

Fried mushrooms were still frozen on the inside. One filet migon was raw, ordered med rare. They took it back and came back tasting horrible. Wanted to take husband and son in law out for Father's Day. Totally disappointed. Never go back

Service was great however the food was not. Ordered the prime rib grilled medium rare. Was not medium rare and didn't have much flavor. Baked potato was hard. Salad was good. Used to be a great place to eat.

I have come here several times and this last time was by far the worse service. Tried to order what was on the sign outside and was told couldnt that was from lunch and noone had changed the special. The waiter was in the middle of taking our order and he said one min, have to give the phone to someone else. Look up he is on the phone standing next to a coworker taking an order. We are ordering our food. I explained I don't want onions on anything. Everything I ordered I asked about onions. I got the potatoe soup - he brought it out it was cold and it had onions in the soup. Then I had to wait almost 5 mins longer for my food than others at my table and my food was cold. The grilled chicken was tough also. My daughter's spaghetti noodles looked like they had been sitting out for a while and was hard and rubbery. Steak was supposed to be medium came out well. I was very displeased with the food and service.
This is a good steak house, it's just not great. The atmosphere is also ok,just not great. Maybe I don't go to steak houses enough because I about fell out of my chair when I saw the prices. If you want a steak it's going to cost you. Probably $35 a plate,or more. I got a Ruben sandwich with fries. It was very good. Wife got prime rib. She said it was good. Again good not great. All in all this place is good. I'd come back. But if you're looking for that fancy steak house experience this isn't it.

First time here! Was really looking forward to having a delicious steak dinner. Service was slow and non-attentive, even though we arrived at the establishment early. Ordered medium rare steaks and got medium well and the beef was tasteless. We were never offered any refills of water and though we inquired about the beers on draft, waiter never returned to ask we wanted to order a beer to enjoy with our meal. Finally had to ask another waiter for a to go box and then went up to the cashier to pay our bill, although we never got one from the waiter. Sub par all the way!

Way over priced for what you get. The steak and vegetables were bland, forgot to bring us drinks, took a long time to get the check, and sat with empty glasses for awhile. We both had iced tea and steak dinners and it was over $80. Not worth stopping at.
