This place is a hidden gem. Came to the area for an event at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex. Had dinner here the night before. We've come here every year three years running. Had the prime rib every time. Service is great, food is spot on. Got a rustic cabin type vibe and there was live music outside. Would have cost twice as much in Chicago. We'll be back next year.
This is a good steak house, it's just not great. The atmosphere is also ok,just not great. Maybe I don't go to steak houses enough because I about fell out of my chair when I saw the prices. If you want a steak it's going to cost you. Probably $35 a plate,or more. I got a Ruben sandwich with fries. It was very good. Wife got prime rib. She said it was good. Again good not great. All in all this place is good. I'd come back. But if you're looking for...
Definitely a place to enjoy the food and their 3 or 4 German dishes but fried chicken and steaks are great too. The deserts are good. Quiet enough to enjoy a conversation with another couple.
