Applebee's Grill + Bar

Good to see this open again! Stopped in for a drink at the bar & catch some NCAA basketball. Good TV viewing at the bar + big screen too.
I didn't have any food..., next time. Yes, I will be back.

I tried…… My family and I sat and waited for an hour and when our food was ready, it was given to another table- the waitress took our food to another table and then tried to give it to us. Naturally I requested that our food be made again. While our waitress was nice, she does not seem to be trained well and seemed to have too many people to serve at once. I encourage management to be more present and anticipate problems before they occur not just apologies when they happen.

We were so excited to visit the new location after church. We had a family size of 8. Immediately when we walked in we noticed another party who had been waiting for 30 minutes and no one was at the front to greet us. After about 5 to 10 minutes a young lady came out the back and walked towards the party who had been waiting and said, “ did they tell you that there’s a 30 minute wait?” The lady from the party said “we have been waiting for 30 minutes already!” The waitress then said, “well it’s only 2 of us on the floor.” We just proceeded to walk out after that. The lady then smirked, and told us to “have a nice day” she didn’t even acknowledge us! SMH!!! Very unprofessional!!! She wasn’t considerate of the wait time of the previous party who had been waiting and she didn’t acknowledge us or apologize to us for keeping us waiting. As a new establishment, the owners and managers should vet who they hire. This was nice a good look for Applebees!

The website says that they are open but its evident that they aren't fully open. Resturant was half painted, chairs were stacked in the corner and tables/booths were missing. Took about 15 minutes to be seated even tho the resturant was empty. The music was wayyyy to loud. I felt like I was tlyellibg so my party could hear me. Everything on the menu I picked out the waitress advised the kitchen staff would have a difficult time making because they were new and didnt know the menu. Took almost 45 minutes to get good. When the food came out it was hot and fresh. My only complaint was that the wings weren't seasoned. I wish they would have cut the heat up just a tinch. Waitress was great. Maybe I'll revisit in the summer. Maybe they'll have e it altoghether by then.

I ate there yesterday & everything was very good EXCEPT what we went for, THE FOOD. The service was good. We had Charee she had a nice friendly positive attitude & her customer service was good. The place was decorated & designed nice & was clean & had clean bathrooms. However the FOOD WAS A WAIST OF TIME & MONEY. The fried pickles were waay too salty & ran my blood pressure up to the point of me feeling ill for the rest of the day when I left there. Most of the rest of the food wasnt seasoned enough & as many others have said was NOT HOT. Most of the rest of the FOOD lacked flavor & felt & taisted like it was MICROWAVED instead of freshly cooked. Although presented well I could tell who ever prepared it was clueless about what & how our people want to eat. The other turn offs was the menu listed several beers but for whatever DECEPTIVE REASON APPLEBEES decided not to put the beer prices on the menu so they can secretly charge what ever they wanted to. Our waitress couldnt find the beer prices either in her hand held computer, so I quickly made up my mind they can keep their beers w/the MYSTERY PRICES. Then when checking out I was presented w/a handheld computer asking for an additional tip after they already billed me a mandatory 18% gratuity disguised as a service charge (TOTAL TURN OFF). I declined that & gave our waitress & additional $10 in cash & exited left knowing I had waisted my TIME & $78 plus $10 for a so called 2 for $25. Ive always been a big fan of Applebees & this was my 1st & ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE eating at an APPLEBEES

Second time I been here just because I have an office in the building, but the customer service is horrible! I waited 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged me. I go to sit at the bar and waited another 10 minutes just to get a menu. Then had to wait again just for them to take my order. The bar people move way too slow. There is no way that they are professional bartenders. Bring Bar Louie back!!

Chicken tenders were over cooked and grease was old. Fries were too hard to eat. Plate was remade and same results.
The waitress was nice .

Worst Applebee's ever! Staff has no people skills and the food took forever and was cold not to mention inedible. Place is very dirty as you can see tons of dust and debris from the second level. Surprised they passed health inspection....or did they. Music not appropriate for dining either. Looks and feels more like a night club than a family restaurant. Not going back not recommending to anyone. Should have known better because the attached hotel is shut down.

The service was terrible, the only good thing was the appetizer fried pickles. I had Cajun Salmon first bite I took smelled and tasted spoiled. Had to spit it out. My friend had French onion soup that was so black looking it had to be returned. All the food was cold. It took what seemed like hours to get our food or even a waitress to come to our table. I ordered the artichoke dip, they gave it to the table behind us which I heard them say the had not ordered it. The shrimp with chicken was cold. We basically left without eating our main course. Please tell me why was it so cold in there I had to eat with my coat on. This was the one of the coldest Sundays ever. I heard one waitress say she had to wait on tables plus cook the food in the kitchen. It was a terrible experience for such a beautiful looking establishment. If they weren't ready to open they should have waited until everything was in place. It could have been a nice experience if everything was in
Place enough waitress, enough people in place to cook instead of managenent having to do all the jobs at once along with the waitress.

I love Applebees but this experience is not it. Service was slow food came out cold and the restaurant wasn’t even busy today..The drinks were water down. ITS cold in here as well.
