Hidden Manna is a true hidden gem tucked away in Old Matteson, a south suburb of Chicago. This cozy, out-of-the-way spot serves up fantastic Creole-inspired dishes. On my last visit, I went for the hand-packed hamburger topped with spicy pepper jack cheese, while my wife enjoyed a fresh grilled salmon salad. Food was so good- shrimp n grits (they use chicken sausage-yasss), side of collard greens and mimosa. Celebrating my sister'd birthday and our server Pedro was awesome- brought her a slice of a dang good slice of pound cake.

I've been coming to hidden Manor Cafe for the past 8 years. It's still the best hidden gem in the South suburban area. The food is always great coupled and with a great atmosphere. You can't go wrong.
