I hope this place really reads their reviews because them sides y'all put together are bogus straight up trash. I really feel like I wasted my 50 dollars on this place. I also think it's hilarious how this business Disguises the food they actually use plain white bread instead of the dough bread they use to go with the typical j*** dinners and the rice and beans are nasty. I know for a fact they use zatarain's which is extra messed up because they try to add their own seasoning it's just a big mess. I don't think this place will last long the fact that they actually sell food like this is sad. People that are true Jamaicans and people that really eat authentic j*** food know the difference. I can honestly say if it wasn't for the j*** sauce and chicken I would of really been upset that was the only thing that was good. Island J*** y'all have to do better y'all trying to be cheap but charge these prices for your meals no effort or love was put into this food stop cutting corners. I think the staff need to taste their own food.

The food is not good at all . It isn’t hot . The “Candied Yams” were gross . They taste like they came from a can. The Macaroni is not too bad. The J*** Tacos were even nasty it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. This was my first and last time here. The customer service was nice . A lot of workers but slow paced . So the customer service I’d give a 8 but the food a 2

I went there yesterday and I ordered Oxtail dinner only had like 4 of them no meat at all mainly fat and they gave me sting beans out of a can bland and cabbage was bland also never again

By far the worst “***** restaurant in the south suburbs. Way too much vinegar and salt in everything. The brown stew chicken tasted like vinegar, the rice and beans were dry and a weird consistency, the Mac and cheese was almost good but too much salt and seemed like no pepper. AND white bread??? I want better for y’all.

The chicken tacos are always tasty. Not a big fan of the sides but that’s just my opinion. Only bad thing to say is when I ordered cabbage I received greens, buts that close enough. Also ordered an Apple cobbler & my oh my was it delicious, definitely getting that again for sure.

Never will I eat from these people again I received my order and wanted to cry. Call them up because it was missing one side dish. They tell me they dont have that side dish in the store had more cabbage than rice and peas hardly any any chicken I had to throw it away was of money.
I ordered my food from DoorDash and when my food arrived everything was cold!!!!!!! I ordered oxtails and paid $9.99 for one oxtail. I called the restaurant and their customer service is terrible!!!!!!!! Please avoid this restaurant!!!!!!!!

If I could give less then one star I would. I ordered Uber eats less then 5 minutes from my job. My food was cold with horrible presentation. I call and asked to speak to a manager I was told know one was in at the time. The young lady I spoke to then asked what was wrong. I explained only for her to tell me there was nothing she could do call Uber eats to request a refund. I will not order from here nor will my coworkers

Today was my partner birthday and with the social distancing and ne working from home i decided to place her an order. By her choice she wanted this. She was very disappointed the good was not appetizing at all. The food looked like tar you could not tell the difference between the red beans and rice and the oxtails in which there were 2 small ones hidden on the plate.. She was not pleased and neither was I.. However, Kudos to Grubhub for their excellent delivery service.
