After 23 years away, LJS still resembles how I remember it, so it’s really good. But the staff at the Matteson, IL restaurant, is what is causing me to leave my first ever review. At first I thought the gentleman at the front counter that helped me just had to be the best of the crew, but as I sit here eating, an elderly lady came in, and I watched another crew member display them same awesome service. It has soo nice to just hear the upbeat professional attitudes with each other, and get great service. Thank you!

I should have given the food back & left. The only thing good about the cheese fries was the seasoning. Cheese was cold. Fries were cold & limp.

THE GENTLEMAN IN THE WINDOW WAS SUPER POLITE, UNFORTUNATELY, MY LUNCH WENT IN THE GARBAGE. 3 SAD LOOKING PIECES OF CHICKEN MOST MISSING THE BREADING, CORN SO SALTY AND DRY. SAVE YOUR

After I paid for my order in driveway, I was told to pull over and my food would be brought out. We waited 20 minutes and by that time they had the doors locked (45 minutes prior to close time). There was a line of people in cars waiting for their orders. It was clear noone was coming out to bring food. I'm not sure what kind of unprofessional and uncalled for game this was but I'll be sure to never return. If a Manager exists here, shame for allowing this to go on at this establishment. The food was so bad that not only do I wish I could get my money back, I wish I could get the calories back so I could do myself a favor and go to Culver's instead. The food was clearly not even fresh. It was way oversalted. The staff was downright rude. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a while.Bottom line, tl;dr: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
