So I got a sandwich from here on the way to an appointment with my son. The sandwich was made fresh order. Nothing pre-sliced or premade. The food is delicious. Have a cute little deli with lots of options. Definitely a nice local spot that I like to see stick around, I do like all the stuff they had in the store. I do plan on going back to try some of the products to make it home but sandwiches are good. Definitely recommend going and checking this place out and supporting some local. The staff was friendly and attentive to my knee. It was the first custom of the day.

First time here we got the Salvatore and the trio. They were great. Meat was fresh, veggies fresh, bread was super tasty. I was surprised how good it was. Definitely going back. Sandwiches are very big portions, go hungry.

Great shop, friendly, with huge subs. I bought a 20" sub thinking this would be like the five dollar place, 12" was filling. I typically can eat two footlongs at the five dollar pace. I have enough food for dinner today and lunch now. Ingredients were super fresh, the bread is delicious, and even the mayo was great. Highly recommended and best subs by far in town. I have tried them all.

Lovely little sandwich shop however it’s a little hard to find. I sat down to do some paperwork before ordering. The owner came over to make sure I wasn’t loitering.I completely understand why, but he could’ve been a little more cordial about it.Full disclosure. I did tell the owner that I had no intentions of buying a sandwich that I was on a diet. I did purchase something before I left the store however. No harm no foul I’m sure they’re great people! Owner needs to work on his customer etiquette in my opinion.

Picking up an order at Adams Sandwich Shop wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. The staff seemed uninterested in my presence, and their greetings were less than welcoming. While I can't comment on the food itself, the customer service left a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a friendly and efficient pickup experience, Adams Sandwich Shop might not be your best bet.

12 inch Italian was outstanding but I need to have a little bit more meat and they should serve a milder capicola on the sandwich for people who are sensitive to spicy if nothing else due to medical conditions but I asked them to switch the meat out and they did but they could use a little less lettuce was a good experience and thenVegetarian options: All I know they have all the necessary condoms for the vegetarian sandwiches and the cheeses and have a good bread so I don't see that being a problem with your selectionDietary restrictions: Maybe they should post a big sign for vegan vegetarian what meats and nuts they use their and if they're separate area for dressing the vegetarian sandwichesParking: Plenty of parking spaceKid-friendliness: Very good customer serviceWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible handicap accessible

Pricing compared to all the chains is not bad. Very nice shop, has a mom and pop feel and has a little store. Almost like the Cracker Barrel of sub shops but except their food is actually good?

Ordered their Italian sandwich and was disappointed. Price was great, veggies were fresh, meat tasted fine, but it was a ho-hum affair. Not enough Italian spices, not enough bite from the giardiniera and no Balsamic/Red Wine vinegar in their "Italian dressing". As a matter of fact, our sandwiches were literally swamped with oil, only this oily mess tasted more like soybean oil. This was definitely not swamped in olive oil, Foodies know the difference. Can you really have oil on an Italian sub without vinegar?Good. Not great. Recommend to McHenry family & friends that aren't big on bold flavors.

We stopped in and picked up 2 6”subs to go, a package of their saurkraut rolls and a piece of carrot cake! Prices were reasonable, food was phenomenal and shop was cute! The menu is on the wall, if this is challenging for you to read they have printed to go menus by the register! ?There were a few high top tables witch chairs if you wanted to dine in. There were several coolers with homemade pierogies, miscellaneous fried rolls, pastas, sausages! Lots to look at! It was hard to choose what to try! They had some baked goods, a few shelves of jarred sauces, pickled items, dried pastas, etc. fun to check out while waiting for our sandwiches. They were super busy, but there were a few people ahead of us. If you are in a hurry you may want to call in your order ahead of time as each sub is made by hand and it does take a bit. There is no bathroom that we could see, so keep that in mind if dining in.We tried the all American, it was loaded with Turkey, ham, American cheese and Swiss cheese. It had tomatoes, lettuce and onions on fresh bread that was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I had Mayo instead of the mustard sauce, it was delicious! It did have some sort of oil or Italian dressing on the veggies, but very good. We also tried the Buffalo chicken, which was deli styled chicken seasoned with Buffalo seasoning, cheddar cheese and lettuce. We did not get it with Mayo and they did not put any other veggies on it besides lettuce, but it was still delicious, had a bit of a kick to it! The Saurkraut rolls we heated in the surveyed and dipped it 1000 island, phenomenal!!! The carrot cake was also delicious, the frosting was creamy and yummy! We are excited to try other sandwiches from there soon!
