just visited this location with my brother; he’s in awe lol. everyone had rlly great attitudes & was very quick; the atmosphere was super welcoming. food was also a 10/10!!! can’t wait to come back 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️

The food is solid as it should be (when the order is right). But I really hope this location fixes its service issues which have been consistent almost every time I have been there since it opened. It is the kind of stuff that is turning me away, as I would rather drive to Crystal Lake honestly. It just does not meet the standard that every other Chick Fil A I have been to does. Quick, efficient, organized and extremely friendly. The people are friendly enough here, but that is really the least of my concerns. The drive through line drags and waits for food are long no matter how many people are there. And then to top it off, when you get your food and your meal is wrong (my fault for driving away), that is frustrating. Has happened twice now. I have come numerous times, but I fear this location is going to struggle if it continues to show major inconsistencies in service. It is just not even close to the standard of the Chick Fil A's I have been to. Seeing quite a few other reviews similar to mine, which is affirming, but concerning.

I understand waiting in line for awhile if a FAST FOOD place is busy. But to wait in line over 20 min with no one in front of me is insane. For 3 chicken sandwich meals. THAT I ORDERED AHEAD. No apologize about the wait or nothing. 2 cars BEHIND me actually came and gone while I was waiting. This isn’t the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time this has happened either. This will be the last time I go back to this location.

Nice place to eat. Food was fresh. Employees were nice. UPDATE.... I went to chick-Fil-a last night... last few times the people at the register are just not smart... first of all I was over charged... then I was informed they were not accepting cash... REALLY... THEN IT TOOK OVER 10 MINUTES TO GET 2 MILKSHAKES AND A MICROSCOPIC ICE CREAM CONE... I will honesty have to think about returning... the waffle fries were so tiny like pan scrapings. And I was charged seperate for my value meal... not much of a value... also ordered chicken noodles soup and received chicken tortilla... ITS CRAZY HOT... like really what's going on here...and no I did not get my money back...

I got to be honest when I heard a Chick-fil-A was coming to McHenry. I was super excited, over the last several years. My wife and our friends have really gotten me into this restaurant and I really enjoy the food and I have been at multiple Chick-fil-A‘s across the Chicagoland area and the service has always been exceptional. The food has always been good. I’ve never really had an issue with orders being made correctly. It’s usually just a I’m going to Chick-fil-A. I know I’m gonna get the food I ordered and it’s gonna be good and everybody’s gonna be friendly and it’s all good.
Since the location of McHenry has opened, I have given it multiple chances and I gotta say it is the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. It feels like the staff has no idea what they’re doing the wait times are always ridiculously long no matter what time you go. It’s always between 10 and 25 minutes in the drive-through waiting for your food and all your ordering are some chicken nuggets or a breakfast biscuit. I have had multiple orders from here made incorrectly most recently. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit with egg whites instead of regular eggs and they didn’t even bother to put the cheese on the sandwich and when I went back and told him they made the sandwich incorrectly instead of remaking the sandwich they took a cold piece of cheese and slapped it on a sandwich that had been made at least 10 minutes ago, which was already cold so I got to enjoy a nice ice cold breakfast sandwich.
I am currently in line going on 20 minutes now waiting for my food and this was the last chance That I was going to give this location. And I’m literally writing this as I’m pulling up to the door where they hand you your food and I’ve been in line for 15 minutes with a mobile order and it’s still not ready. And all I ordered was a bacon egg and cheese biscuit some hashbrowns and a drink that’s it.
Honestly, I’m done with this location. It’s unfortunate because I live in McHenry and it was gonna be so awesome to have a Chick-fil-A close to my house, but I would rather drive to Crystal Lake or Algonquin and go to their locations then go back to the McHenry location.
I gave multiple chances and it’s just clear that whoever is running this location has absolutely no idea what they’re doing

I’m bummed to leave this review, but I think it’s necessary and constructive criticism. This location started off so strong in terms of the customer service aspect of operations, but has had a significant drop off over the last month. Wait times to receive an order have become extremely excessive. During Grand opening weeks the location was efficient and thorough, but has since become anything but. No exaggeration when I say for this particular visit I have been waiting for 25 minutes for a 1 meal order for carry out. I hope you don’t allow 1 location to taint such a respectable reputation for quality and service. Thanks
Ordered a chocolate shake at the drive thru on Monday Nov 17 at about 8:15 and paid 5 dollars and 28 cents. Waited 12 minutes in the drive thru line and was told when I got to the window they didn’t have any shakes. They couldn’t tell me that when I ordered. To make matters worse they only gave me 4.28 on the refund. Will never go back

Ordered online pickup. Ordered a chicken sandwich and only got the lettuce and tomato in my bag. Support is impossible to reach and I had to spend an extra 45 minutes out of my time to go get my money back. Most places will give you the right order and some sort of refund when they completely mess up your order. This place does not. Go to a different one or better yet, spend your money elsewhere.
