The restaurant is pick up only and the front is run down and even a bit dingy in appearance but the prices are great and the food is REALLY good! When we moved to McHenry 10 years ago we had trouble finding Chinese food we liked. Finally friends suggested checking out China House.

I genuinely do not understand how this restaurant has negative reviews. I have been coming to this establishment for over 10 years and have never had a major issue. They have always corrected any mistakes. In addition to the food being delicious, you can’t beat the affordability. The portions are very generous and the lunch specials include a pop.
