I stand at the middle of bar for almost two mintues with three bartenders and a bar back behind the bar just talking to eachother and not serving anyone and the bar isnt even packed. You guys set the mood. If its packed and you are serving others, I would understand. But that was not the case. You set the tone. If i had friends or a date those two minutes would be even more akward. I almost felt like not tipping at all. Please keep looking around while you talk and not have tunnel vision talking to eachother.

We played a show at the theater next to this place. Had dinner here. WOW!!!! The service was very good and friendly. But the food!! I had a huge burger with bacon, egg, and hashbrowns. It was huge and incredible. Wife had a chicken wrap, she said was incredible as well. The incredible food combined with the small town friendly atmosphere makes this place well worth the stop. I love how they "branded" the bun.

Last time we went there... they were too packed, half an hour to an hour wait, so we decided to go somewhere else. The following week, I made a reservation to ensure that we were seated at the exact time. Our reservation was at 7, so instincly we showed up 5 before 7 and our table wasn't ready and the young lady told us that there was a wait even thought we had a reservation...So, we went and sat in the car waiting for them to call us. The wait time was half an hour. What was the point of making a reservation...The food was ok, and the service was fast. Our server was polite and attentive... the atmosphere was not terrible. We had a decent time together. Overall, I liked the place and would like to go back during lunchtime instead of dinner. Check it out.

We found a great location for lunch in McHenry at D.C. Cobb's. Extremely easy to find with plenty of free parking right across the street. The restaurant is well laid out so tables are not crowded together. Be prepared for decisions as there are many toppings choices (the most cheese choices I've seen) for your burger, as well as choices for the type of protein (corn fed beef, grass fed, bison, and many other options). Their wraps were tasty. Their crispy chicken BLT wrap (grilled is available as well) and fries hit the spot. My choice of fries with cheese and bacon was very good, and their bar/beer selections (the Stout was really good) also made for a pleasant afternoon.
Been coming to D.C. Cobb's for a while and they never disappoint! Food freshly made the bacon cheese fries were delicious.our server Nanci was so friendly and generous!
