They got rid of their corn on the cob street corn. They only do it in the cups now to keep costs down. Lost a customer here. Such a shame.

I don't know if these are new owners or what but the reviews don't match up to my experience here, Yesterday I went to this location, the place was overheated, there is a bakery in there so it was too hot to even order and wait already, bathrooms were DISGUSTINGLY dirty, counter tops and cash register as well. sorry guys I usually don't complain this much but it was too much . I thought that at-least the ice popsicle would be worth all that but nooooo it was the worse ice cream i've ever had. tasted like freezer burn and not what I wanted I threw it out after the first bite.

the pastries are phenomenal and appropriately priced. the ice cream bar on the other hand is rather expensive. got charged 16 for two freshly squeezed orange juices

After a failed attempt to another McHenry bakery, we stumbled upon this location to purchase conchas for my daughters school project. The facility was extremely clean and they offered a wide variety of items. My daughter picked out her items and the young man cashing us out struck up a conversation with her. She informed him they were for a school project she was working on about Mexico. He smiled and told her that he thought he might have something special for her project. He came back with little toothpick flags and a ring for her. His overall generosity is beyond appreciated. We will definitely be returning customers!

Never going back to this circus!!!Ordered 3 dozen cheese and pepper tamales,The first time, they didn't even make the order, no call nothing.Gave them a 2nd chance and ordered them the following week. All 3 dozen were filled with something we're not sure with.. called to let Francisco know. I'm still waiting for his call back and it's been a week and half. We live over 100 miles round trip. The cheese and pepper tamales were worth the trip for us, but if Francisco can't even keep his word with a call back we won't be giving him our business.
Best ice cream and aguas frescas! ?? This is the only michoacana i love to go to. Very hard working employees and manager.

This place was amazing! The service and ice cream were amazing. The bakery section was really really good. The toppings are all you can ask for. But the thing they call water that they have was incredible. Try the strawberry cucumber water and it was a knockout but still may try other flavors on my next visit.I've been on a forever search to find a good Mexican corn dish and oh my God I found it here at La CoQueta Michoacana. Super Yum.

My new favorite place in town! We've only lived around here for maybe 2 weeks and we've already been back 4 times! Trust Francisco`s recommendations!! He picked out the perfect I've cream and popsicles for me, my husband and my kids!!! They have this incredible chocolate ferrero rochet ice cream bar that's TO DIE FOR!!! I loved their pistachio ice cream & their lime and cucumber water & strawberry and cucumber water!! Very fresh and mindful of health! The manager Francisco was very knowledgeable and mindful of healthy eating and drinking habits. They also have Fresh Tamales & the bakery in the back has fresh hot churros! The bakery was pretty insane too & they accept EBT! In LOVE with both of the these places!!! ???
