I don’t recommend dining in. They prioritize drive thru orders so you’ll be waiting at least 20 mins for a cup of soup and a half salad. Also, it’s 4pm and the lobby looks like the tables haven’t been cleaned all day. I had to wipe one down myself so I had somewhere to eat. Soup was cold. Not even warm.

Just got out of the hospital and needed chicken noodle soup. The woman in the drive through was so nice and patient with me. I had never been through their drive through and needed help ordering the soup with the bread bowl. It was such a comforting soup was still perfectly hot when I got it home (10 minute drive).

The asiago sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is so delicious. I think it’s the best breakfast sandwich on the market. It’s actually worth the $8 which I would typically never say but it is! Staff is always very kind and they work efficiently.

The food is as good as most panera but the service was just exceptional here in the mchenry location! A women named Gina took our order, who is also the manager, was so friendly!! She Was patient with us and had so much knowledge on every last food item we asked about and suggested things we didn't even know about. She knew every allergen, and every last little ingredient. Another thing, her smile was just so bright and friendly, i don't think there can be better service than we had with her. Then as we're sitting, she is washing tables filling some sort of drinks, stocking products all around us, while helping her staff, answering their questions and guiding them... what?! I have never seen such a hands-on hard-working manager At a food place you know what I mean? She just deserves more. Thank you Gina for your spirit, knowledge, care; thank you for being one of the good ones that are hard to come by these days.
The reason for only being four stars is more for the folks at corporate headquarters. I think kiosks are fine and allow customers who might not enjoy much human interaction. That being said, I do feel that there should also be an option to work directly with an associate. That provides the opportunity to pay in cash, as well as be there for those customers who might be technically challenged or just prefer the human enter action. The associate I did see had a smile on her face and seemed very pleasant.
