Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. And I’m not big on chocolate cake either. Everyone loved it, and thank god we still have a piece left over ? wonderful customer service and pricing too!

Let me start off with I live in Twin lakes. Work till 5 told them I was on my way and I would get there at 523. Girl told me sorry we are throwing away the Paczki. They told me not to take the order, we will be closing. I definitely will not be supporting any local business in McHenry. Really sad people must be making money hand over fist.

Delicious baked goods, the best in the area. Bavarian cream is outstanding. Huge donuts, amazing pastries and coffee cakes. My only complaint is I wish they had their menu on their website.

I ordered a cheesecake topped with raspberry for a surprise party of 35 people. The cheesecake was a huge disappointment, wasn't creamy, raspberry was runny and trying to cut the cheesecake into small pieces was a fail and embarrassing. Don't like to complain but almost $30 for a 9" cheesecake that was not at all what I thought and hoped it would be.

I’ve been blessed with being treated to here since I was a kid! My mom would wake up early and come at opening to make sure we got some of these delicious donuts during special days or holidays. Nothing but fond memories. And everything still tastes just as good as an adult!As a donut “connoisseur”, I have never had a donut like these. The dough is crispy yet soft, the super soft fluffy frosting, and the sprinkles add back in a soft crunch. It’s seriously an amazing experience.
