Best shrimp fried rice anywhere. Order it without sesame seeds unless you like them, but I think they are just decoration and are distracting. The rice is always perfect as are the shrimp. Great job, this is my favorite dish. The plain fried rice is really good too if you don’t want shrimp.

I’ve only had takeout on multiple occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Fried rice is delish and just had the yaki udon with shrimp, asked for spicy and they knocked it out of the park! Highly recommended establishment from an industry veteran.

Great selection of food and a fun atmosphere! So many good options for everyone. The sashimi and rolls are soooo good! The miso soup and salads are fantastic. Excellent location for takeout or dining in.

Best sushi in Mchenry in my opinion. The staff is also very nice and it's a great atmosphere inside. A little pricey but it's well worth it!

We had Gyoza, Rangoon, fried rice, lo mein, and spicy tuna sushi. The meal was good, very good in fact. My only critique would be for more flavor in the rice. I understand that restaurants have to cater to the clientele in the area, but it felt off. Overall 8/10 food wise, but the sushi saved it completely. I haven't had good sushi since I was overseas. It was well done for me here. Will 100% be returning.

I did surprise birthday party for my wife at Sakura and this was her best restaurant celebration ever. They held our homemade cake and bring it when needed with singing and birthday song from the sound system. Great food also, atmosfere and very friendly crew of the restaurant.

Very nice Japanese dining experience with assorted Asian food from across the region. Sakura is one of the best places to visit in McHenry County for dining. The chef's put their best foot forward with every dish as if it is a Picasso, and the staff is always friendly. Prices are extremely fair. The food speaks for itself.

The Spicy Tuna Roll tasted like burnt plastic. The summer roll says spicy "sauce" but it's an oil. The Rainbow roll says "fish on top" but it was half Avocado.
