We ordered some birria taco dinners with horchata, and the total was $62 which we thought was a bit expensive to begin with but didn't question it, and thought it would be worth it at least, but it was not. My birria tacos were a bit burnt and the beans were not the best either and when I wanted to finish the consome it tasted like it was about to go bad and my husband mentioned that he saw the cook reheat it in the microwave. So very disappointed to say the least of how much we paid for a pretty gross dinner that I couldn't even finish.

Worst tacos I’ve ever had. I got the steak tacos and the meat was super greasy and didn’t taste like your typical steak taco at all. The meat was also a little undercooked.

Went here tonight for the first time in a few years. The tacos were very greasy & absolutely bland, no flavor at all. Even the salsa was flavorless. $14 for 3 tacos.

I was there on 7/23 around 6:30pm. First time there. Everything was good except , I saw an employee the young lady eating out a can behind the counter , okay that’s fine. But then I saw her coworker taste from the can with his finger. He put his finger in it licked his finger and didn’t wash his hands. Then proceeded to touch a customers drink and handle all the other items. The girl did the same thing with her finger when she was finished. Licked her finger and proceed to touch everything else. That’s fine they do that but they should definitely wash their hands after and not touch peoples food and equipment.

I ordered a Steak Fajita dinner, and it was one of the best meals I’ve tasted in a long time. Their hot sauce is very good; it’s not so hot that it would burn your throat.
MAY 2020 UPDATE: With the reopening after the COVID-19 shutdown, they started skimping on the meat for the Steak Fajitas; the portions of steak are now much smaller and they are compensating by adding more vegetables. Yet the price is still the same.
*NOTE: This business imposes a $10.00 minimum charge on credit & debit card transactions.
2025 UPDATE: Some of their menu items are starting to get overpriced. This business has also started imposing a 3% surcharge on credit card payments. Recommend paying by cash or debit card.

I ordered the food through Uber eats. Chips and salsa, 3 taco dinner. Two taco stake and ground beef taco.
Let's talk about the taco dinner. The topings - The tomatoes on tacos where withe with pink chunks of tomato here and there. It felt like I got tomato trimming that should be discarded or composed the tomat was simply not ripe in the first place. - I had to look for my lettuce, so little of it , it was looking sad. - Onions and cilantro ( i think I got lucky on that) given the general aproach of a cook I don't believe I was supposed to get it lol.🤣
-Stake taco meet was ok,
-Ground beef was dicusting, it looked like ground beef meat but it had no flavor and it felt watered down. My dogs loved it !
- Rice was ok.
- Beens very runny and no flavor. Not good , my dogs finished and seemed to love it.
-Chips very hard, salsa not great but whatever this was not my main dish.
My dogs to help me finish the food so I dont feel as upset about wasting the food and money on the not so good food.
I will no longer risk to order from this place It feels like they cut corners. There is so many Mexican restaurants in the area that stay consistent with flavor and quality of ingredients I can go elsewhere. Good by Tacos El Norte!
