The Metalwood Grille is a hidden gem, open to the public, on the river, with great views and a fantastic patio. The staff is fantastic, and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Customers can enjoy a 1/2 pound or 1 pound of shrimp that is boiled, shells removed and served chilled on ice, which is a tasty and great value. The restaurant also offers a classic Caesar salad with a large portion of romaine lettuce, tomato wedges, and parmesan cheese, as well as a delicious tomato basil (bisque) soup. The food is comforting and flavorful, and the coffee, including a raspberry cappuccino, is out of this world.
