My husband and I were kindly greeted by Lauren, the owner, right away. She was super nice, down to earth, and patient with us. I had the “Toast’d” & a macaroon which was delicious!! My husband had the Lucky Charms Cold Brew which was soooo good too! The cafe itself is so cute and very clean.

I live over an hour away from Toast and Roast, but I was up here to watch my granddaughter‘s basketball tournament game. I had looked up coffee shops in McHenry and found it. And what a find! A spacious establishment with clearly readable menu and great service! I had the Toast’d Latte and it was excellent. I highly recommend Toast and Roast! If I lived closer, it would definitely be on my go to shortlist for coffee shops

Love the drinks, vibes, & community Toast & Roast brings. I’ve been multiple times when visiting McHenry and I’d say the only thing you’ll have to be conscious of is time. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes for a drink.

Such a cute little spot! Coffees are great, açaí bowls are yummy. Love the everything bagel with garlic/herb smear (I think it’s Allouette or at least it tastes like it). Their Toast Magoats is a total MUST TRY! With places like this, why go to big chains…like STARBUTTS who????

First visit, I was there at 7am and was really looking forward to the lox n roll and a chocolate croissant. The lox n roll was phenomenal on the asiago bagel and I would return just for that. But the croissant, which I was excited about, and falsely hoped would be fresh at 7am was stale. Beyond stale. Super hard, and couldn't even be redeemed with some warming up. I felt extremely disappointed and it cost me $6.

Hello! Last August my newly husband and were showered with love from our amazing moms and families! This beautiful evening celebration was located at the delicious Toast & Roast!! Our wedding shower was a beautiful evening filled with a lot of laughter, love and positive energy in the room. A special thank you to the awesome service from owners and team members of Toast & Roast! They provided excellent communication, a delicious menu of coffee & great food to accommodate our guests :) They provided a beautiful private room that comfortably fit our party! We are honored to have had such a special event here and can’t wait to go back! If you are looking for a family event, wedding shower baby shower or other special occasion this is a wonderful coffee shop for all!
