First time going and needs another visit in the rather near future. To start myself & mine had fried green tomatoes & fried mac n cheese then, my daughter had the chicken quesadilla & fries, my fiancé had 8oz steak & loaded bake potato, & myself had frog legs & bacon ranch pasta. Food was phenomenal. I've only had great frog legs at one other restaurant and sadly the owner passed away, this was years ago when I was a teenager, I'm 35 now. If you're any where near McLeansboro IL, absolutely stop by Foxy.

Burger is not hand padded but it's good quality and cooked perfectly. The baked potato (after 4pm) is a huge bonus rather than fries. Coffee was good enough for drip. The service was excellent. Polite, professional and prompt. Normally the food would be a 4 star but the service made up for it.

The ribeye was coated in a seasoning I didn't care for, wife's fried chicken was juicy and tasty. Service was great and with tip under $50.00 Try the Gelato.

Made an order for a party a day ahead. Got there to pick up order, I was given the wrong order. Told them this was the wrong order, Was told it was the only wing order they had. Got home with that order of wings. They called and had to take that order back. Brought order back and was questioned about food that was in bag, then was treated like it was my fault my order was wrong when I told them that it wasn't my order in the frist place. Won't be doing that again.

This place is amazing!!! The wings are amazing and hand cut steaks!!! I miss this place!! Also have ice cream 2. Very interesting looking up at the belt drive fans from the 1900's. What can i say its interesting!

The slogan, “Good Coffee”, is on the sign & painted on the building.. I did not find coffee there. Let alone “good coffee”.. Menu had an $8 latte. Ordered it, but they had no alternative milks.. I asked for a black coffee to go.. the server & I both looked at the empty pot. She said, “give me a few minutes. I’m gonna have to brew some.” I politely reconsidered, & walked back out the door. Starbucks in Mt. Vernon it is, I guess. So much for supporting small business & shopping local today.
