My wife and I went to Rosati's three times last week when we visited Mendota from California, so that should indicate something about what we think of this restaurant and bar. We love the atmosphere in this one-time police building and municipal jail. The food is very good. The menu prices are quite reasonable. And the staff is friendly. However, we did not appreciate the "convenience fee" that the establishment adds to its meal and bar checks. Makes the customer feel cheated, sadly. Otherwise: five stars.

A favorite restaurant of mine, solid pizza and spaghetti, good draft beer selection.I’m annoyed by the recent decision to upcharge for credit card use. I’m certain 3 of 4 diners use credit cards in your restaurant. How about charging what your menu says? If Cc fees suddenly affect your business (has there been a recent fee increase?) do what you need to do (increase menu price) to reflect and recover those fees, but accurately reflect your prices for at least the 75% of the majority of your clientele that they will pay.I’ll probably remove this review in a few days, but I needed to make my point. Adding fees is deceitful.

We ordered on line took hour and half and the sandwich was cold and the garlic knots were hard could not even eat them and they werev12 bucks and of course the lines are down so can't get ahold of them to complain sure not worth what I payed and they can't make it

Picked up a pizza and was early. I expected to wait 10 minutes. Piping hot and made exactly how it was ordered. Highly recommend!
Love the pizza it was very good! It was a little dark in there. Unfortunately it is expensive to go out anymore. For 3 people it cost me$ 90.00 but it was really good pizza!!!!?

My son and I were visiting from Canada. Our friend who works in Mendota suggested pizza at Rosati's.Coming from a home with an Italian wife and mom, we know the good stuff and all I can say is: Rosati's makes Fantastic pizza!

Went there Saturday night around 715pm Friendly and attentive service throughout. Saturday dine in special of 23 ounce domestic beers for smaller price and the pizza upgrade to the next size for no charge was terrific. Nice inside areas but I'd rather sit in the bar area next time. Less stuffy and brighter. The outdoor area is nice! Lots of tables and a quiet side of the building. The pizza was Italian sausage and fresh garlic. It did not disappoint. Good amount of sauce and the sausage is some of the best you'll find on a pizza. The dough bites (nice garlic and parm coating) as an appetizer were good but I saved room for the pizza mostly. Some on down and have a great pizza here!
