This place has been here forever, and there's a reason for that. It's got decent food and prices. It's hard not to stop in for a bite to eat when back in the area. That leaves other places unexplored, but it's like going to a restaurant and always getting your favorite dish and not trying other things.The Double Breaded CheeseBurger is the cult classic here. You just can't find them anywhere else. I like the liver and onions, and the fried chicken is wonderful. I'm not a fan of coated fries, but everything else I've had here over the years has been wonderful. I wish there were more places like Ziggie's.

Burgers slap here. (Slap being a term for "amazing, good, great, cool" for slang) I have lived in Mendota for years and go here every once in a while. Absolutely love it. Food comes out in just 10-15 minutes typically, hot and fresh. I also love their Gyro Roll! Waitresses friendly 95% of the time unless they're having a bad day which is understandable.Kid-friendliness: Very patient employees when there are loud teenagers or children

Couldn’t resist stopping for an impromptu snack. Was shocked at how good everything was. My daughters still talk about breakfast at Ziggie’s! Fantastic!

Had to pay extra for small Condiments including syrup that should come with French toast. Potato salad had a sour taste. No ketchup on the cheeseburger. No napkins no silverware and they forgot 3 small milks so we had to drive back after being on the road for over 12 hours.

This place is friendly with great homemade food, some of my favorites! Best turkey club and soups. Plenty of table space but also has a drive thru pick up. I go once a month!
