First time here. Food was so good and hot. Hubby had corned beef hash (homemade) and I had biscuits and gravy, with eggs and bacon. You get plenty. Leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Highly recommend. We will be back.

This place was phenomenal!!! The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious. The wait time wasn't bad at all. The prices was very reasonable. It was about an hour drive but totally worth it. And definitely will be back!! I tell everyone about this place and HIGHLY recommend!!

Oh… my… goodness! I can’t help but give a big ol’ shout out to a diner that I just stumbled upon! While driving around the far side of Metamora, I stumbled across Biscuits and Gravy this morning… and my hillbilly heart lept with joy! I stopped in… actually WENT INSIDE all by myself which if you know me is not something that I do in restaurants… but I’m so glad that I did!!! From the entryway to the dining room to the kitchen itself, this place is absolutely PACKED with Southern charm and hospitality… not to mention genuine-straight-outta-Tennessee-Southern recipes! I spoke to the sweet owner who told me she grew up on Sunday mornings with everyone around the breakfast table eating her family’s recipe for biscuits and gravy. She and her husband decided the world needs more of that (they were right!) and so they opened the diner 6 years ago. 6 YEARS… HOW have I not known about this gem?!?! We chatted about how my West Virginian family makes their gravy with bacon grease and she said that’s how her dad makes it and I immediately knew I was kindred spirits with her dad ? I ordered some of their namesake meal to eat on the way home… living on the edge eating biscuits and gravy while driving here… and I gotta say, in true southern fashion, other than my mama’s, these are the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! For less than eight bucks I got a single biscuit that is bigger than my fist, a generous container of drool-worthy gravy and my only regret is that I couldn’t finish at all! I didn’t catch the owner’s name, but, Sister, if you see this, you are doing it RIGHT and you will be seeing me and my family again soon and… to be honest, probably often!

Ordered lunch to-go. When my husband went to pick it up he was a little early and they gave him a coffee while he waited. Probably the best BLT I ever had and the Italian beef was amazing too. The bacon was great and the L&T were super fresh. I’m going to need their recipe for their au jus. So good! I haven’t seen a bill that low since pre-2020 and the portions were huge. Will definitely be back often!

Stopped to get lunch. I couldn't believe that it really wasn't very busy. It's a little hidden, but it's a bit of a hidden gem too. The food was excellent! I would definitely go back! Their hours for lunch are limited, so make sure you plan ahead if you go for lunch (only open until 1p). The corned beef hash skillet was soooo good!

My mom, my daughter and I and two of my closest friends came yesterday (5/21/24) for lunch, It took almost 30 minutes for us to get our food and asked the waitress 2 times for straws. The waitress never came to us to apologize for how long the food took she sat at a customers table most of the time talking. This was my first time ever and I never had the worst experience ever.
Very cute restaurant with decent food but nothing special. First time we went service was mediocre. We tried to go a second time because it’s decent n close to the house. But when we pulled up just before 12:30 (they close at 1), she shut the open signs off on us. Poor business n I will not return

Over in the area having vehicle serviced, and we stumbled upon this nice restaurant tucked away. My husband and I both had two eggs, hash browns, and bacon. If you like crispy hash browns, you'll love these. Good crispy bacon too and eggs cooked almost perfect. I talked my husband into getting a side of the biscuits and gravy. Their biscuits are amazing, tall w that nice crisp top, but the gravy is just a weird flavor. I don't know what kind of sausage they are using, but they need to switch. It tastes like polish sausage or kielbasa or something other than a good pork sausage. After all, they are called biscuits and "gravy". We took leftover gravy to a friend who loves B&Gs, and he didn't like it either. Use a good pork sausage and add a little bacon grease if you want to have a signature gravy people will really like. I would have given them 5 ☆s for food if it hadn't been for the gravy.Our waitress super nice.
