Today for lunch we stopped at a little spot in Metropolis, IL called The Super City Grill.
They had just opened and we were the very first customers of the day.
Not long after we ordered, my son, Ryder grew restless and started wandering. I tried directing and distracting him, even taking him outside for a walk, but before long the restlessness turned into frustration.
You see, Ryder is a Level 3 nonverbal Autistic kiddo so, restaurants can be difficult to traverse….but,...
Had the 🦸♂️ Superman Pizza. Great sauce and lots of toppings. Thin crust.
Also had the Open-faced Roast Beef. Roast Beef was fork-tender with fluffy mashed potatoes and a tasty Brown Pepper gravy.

My husband's hamburger was good, but I got a grilled chicken ceaser salad. It had so much dressing on it, and the chicken was like minced fried chicken on top! We will not go back. Also, it's very dark in there.
