I ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young patties and it was gross with no flavor. The gravy was watery with no flavor and the shrimp was bright pink and I was told that’s how they make their gravy. I also ordered the giant chicken wings which was huge like turkey wings. Make sure when you order you be specific on what kind of gravy you want when I didn’t know it was different ones. The best thing I can say is the food was hot!??I will never order from them again. Rice Garden here I come !!!

If you're from out of town and want to grab a bite of Chinese food please!!! Don't come to this place of business. The food was horrible!!! Everything was under cooked the egg rolls were not done on the inside and the entrée was even the more terrible. It was $29 bucks I truly hate watch go down the drain for uncooked food?I will never eat at any Chinese restaurant in Illinois again ?

Great old school best tasting Chinese Cantonese cooking. Owner is one of the cooks, he over sees everything with great pride. His wife works beside him. I cherish each meal because when they retire it will never be the same . Fried Rice is the best, made with egg, green onion, soy sauce, dark rich flavor. Not pale rice with peas n carrots.. Like Chinese chains serve. Yucky. You must try them. Not a bad thing on the menu. Reasonable tooand big portions!! Thank Gum Wah ..we love you guys.
Here from Cincinnati, visiting family. This place was great. Fresh food and outstanding service. The two gentlemen that assisted me with my order were both, professional and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the jumbo shrimp fried rice and it was delicious.

Food is awful, pepper steak, egg foo young, and shrimp fried rice. I found all three dishes awful. I threw them out once I ate some and taste how tasteless and awful the food is here.

I used to go here geez since 2014. I recently stopped I noticed the Rice now is like Plastic truly Plastic. Rice is Fluffy like WTH.. I felt so violated. Becareful these Days My People.. we need to grow our own food these Days.

I’ll never order from here again. About to dispute the charge with my bank. I ordered a Mongolian chicken but they gave me another chicken dish and when I called he claimed that’s how they make it but I’ve ordered Mongolian chicken from there before. Never again and check your food before you leave!!!

It is really hard to find a good Chinese restaurant nowadays.With that said, I still haven't!I have given this place gum wahSo many opportunities to prove themselves worthy of my patronage, that is simply not the case.The food is just absolutely tasteless.. Bland as can be. When I first started ordering from gum wah, the food had some level of flavor. it was greasy but then it became a time when it was just hit or miss. It could have a little flavor or it wouldn't have any flavor.This last time was it for me! they will never get another $50,$60 or $70 from my family AGAIN!
