I really enjoy going to Pepe's but this one seemed dated, service was average and the food wasn't the same as the others but it was still good parking is great.

I live in Nashville I'm in Chicago at least once a month this is the first place I come... You have to try the stuffed beef soft shell corn tacos

Today was my last day visiting this location. The Spanish waitress was beyond rude today. She treated my 74 year old mother like a hard criminal for taking Splenda packs from the table that she usually puts in her water. This lady was watching my mother the entire time because she’s racist while we sat and ate our lunch. How weird is that? I’ve been eating at this location for more than 10 years. It’s always that one weirdo recently(2 years) hired employee doing the most. She should be ashamed of herself for being the evil wicked woman that she is. She said continually to my mom and I, “we have cameras” and she can prove she stole some splendas off the table. Like lady she never denied it. She thought they were free to the customers. Thats not theft when we are dining in they’re on the table. I guess she wanted brownie points from her manager that did apologize for her behavior. That was the most insanest event I’ve ever witnessed in my 51 year old life. Next time put a do not touch sign there weird lady. The camera comment what was insane. She must’ve been arrested in her life. Those are usually the ones that are disguised criminals. Food quality has declined as well. I will no longer support Pepe’s with my hard earned money for the poor quality customer service and food that received today.

I went out to eat with my family on cinco de mayo and it was the worst decision ever. 2/3 of us had food poisoning from their steak. We have been sick no stop for over 24 hours throwing up every hour. Over $85 for the worst food you can imagine. Never eat here, there’s tons of better places around for less money and won’t put you out of work for a couple of days
