The restaurant looked really nice inside and kept very clean. The young waitress who said she was there for only two months. Did an absolutely fantastic job! As if she’s been doing this for years. I liked how the menu was set up. Well organized with plenty of meals to select from. Without overwhelming a person. The comfort food itself tasted great. Served hot and not taking forever to receive. An overall great atmosphere and experience!

Ate here last week after years of not going and it was great. So good we went again tonight. Food was HORRIBLE. Service wasn't great. Chili warm (like room temperature, not hot) maid rite was COLD, fries soggy and way under cooked. Also charged for a large shake instead of the small with basket, like I ordered. My husband had the open faced chili rite thing and his whole meal was also COLD. All the waitress said to the cold food was ohhh Im so sorry. Spent almost $60. Safe to say we'll skip Maid Rite next time. Maybe do better? Maybe check your temps throughout the day/night. Just so disappointed.

This was a great experience! I have been wanting a maid-rite in such a long time. The food was great the service was great. Brought back memories from childhood. Will be back.

I ordered a Chili Shoe... the cheese sauce wasnt on it. When I address the waitress, she said nit didn't come with cheese, but asked the kitchen staff anyway and indeed got my cheese sauce. Easy easy lemon squeezy... no fuss, no muss. My daughter wasn't a fan of anything she ordered, but she is indeed extremely picky. So, overall it was good. Will come back whenever I venture out that way.

We arrived and it was kinda busy. The waitress took our order and brought my drink but forgot my spouse’s. We waited for some time and other patrons were getting served. We asked our waitress and she stated that there was only one cook. We watched as she went back and handed him our ticket. Shortly after we were served our food. The order was wrong and was Luke warm. I don’t believe we got our money’s worth.

Original Maid-Rite and cheese balls were excellent as always. My waitress Latrifha was great and the food came out fast and hot. I'll be back on my next trip to the Quad Cities.

I have went here several times in 30 years. And have NEVER been disappointed like I was this last time. My meal did not look appetizing at all... however, I have been coming here off and on for 30 years and have NEVER had a bad meal until the last one I had.

So sad to see these disappearing from the area. When I was a kid, there was at least one Maid rite in every town. I live in East Moline, had to drive to Milan for that class8c taste and atmosphere. Worth it though! If you're over 50, enjoy good food, or if youre a typical red neck, this is your place to go!

A cool retro diner with a slightly different take on typical American fare. Be warned, they close early
