I have visited Shanghi several times lately and feel very comfortable giving a review. Upon entering we been greeted and seated promptly. The staff has always been very courteous and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. Drink orders are taken and brought out promptly. As far as the food I have had the mongolian beef which is one of my favorites. The food is always plated nicely and is hot. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

The one night we actually get to dine in (you call and it's always tomorrow) we get there only to be told to come back in an hour (it was 7pm and they close at 830pm) because they had a large party coming in. Funny, they DON'T take reservations. I'm not sure how this restaurant will stay afloat with business practices like this.

The little guy who runs restaurant always seems mad at worldVery unfriendly. I requested a glass of ice with my tea n he said if he gave me ice he'd charge me for the free tea! Go figure! Then I ordered the seafood soup which was awful. I complained he ignored me. The soup constituted of shrimp crabmeat and mushrooms without any flavor and it tasted like it was just cooked in h20! Awful! So after paying for unfit meal and refused ice we will not be back! Do not go there if u dislike being rudely treated. Oh by the way my husband did tip! Ugh!

There is a reason this business has been around as long as it has. I've been coming to this fantastic restaurant since I was roughly 8 years old, I'm 34 now and the food just keeps getting better. The Crab Rangoon are legendary and Nhan is always friendly and greets me with a smile.

The food cannot be beat. I’ve eaten Chinese cuisine from every established Chinese food restaurant in the Quad Cities, and hands down it’s the best! I order the Mongolian Beef and the beef is so tender and honestly breathtaking. The crab Rangoons are amazing and I honestly don’t want them from anywhere else now. Thank you Nhan and the talented staff for providing the best for our community!
Little guy at the front is always upset with someone. He treats me well, that is till I leave, and he get the next customer. LOL. Food has been good. Not as good as when his parents ran the show. But he is trying. I have no complaints.
