The owner came to the table as I was emtying my plates into my ONE togo container. I had leftover salad from the salad bar and was told I could not take it. In my 55 years I have NEVER been told I couldnt take food that was ON THE TABLE home with me. And since I'm here, they need to season the steak.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. Tonight we met family that was back in town after being at a hot baseball game. We weren't super hungry from being at the ball field all day but wanted to see family that was back. Everyone ordered food they got to us (me and 3 kids 12-13) so to big for kids meal, but dont eat an adult meal. 2 of the kids wanted to share a chicken Alfredo meal, my son wanted ribs but knew he couldn't eat a half rack. So I said that's fine I will piece off your ribs as I'm not real hungry. Got told from the waitress we can't share food. I asked to speak to owner whom I have known all these years and she said the 2 kids could share the Alfredo but they couldn't have salad bar (Salad bar is included in price). However I could not share ribs with my son. So I said I just wouldn't eat. I didn't touch one thing, and will honestly say I will never go back. They have lost our business. I constantly recommend them, but will no longer. We have had family gathering there but will no longer. The dictate what you can and can not eat. I was not gonna eat any salad, I was only going to eat 2 ribs of my sons. I didn't eat nothing so they couldn't charge us more.

Family member hosted a birthday dinner here, my partner and I sat down and ordered fried pickles, Alfredo, and Salmon dinner. Pickles werenât bad but they wouldnât substitute broccoli and a baked potato for French fries because âthatâs what normally comes with itâ and the Alfredo tasted like if I drank water that had paper dissolve in it. Got told the bill would be lowered for the Alfredo but they wouldnât take it back because the cook would come out yelling and they didnât want to deal with that so she offered to lower the bill⊠we got the bill it was 60$ and some change and none of the prices got changed. 3 people invited to the party got it and all 3 of them did not eat more then 2 bites because it was nasty.
Donât recommend, overpriced for nasty food. Iâve had better microwave Alfredo bought from the Walmart than the slop they served here.

Eggs were burn around the edges and the overall presentation was just sloppy. I could have made a better breakfast at home. Went to pay bill and the guy at cash register seemed to be in a bad mood. Handed him my money and he placed my change on counter instead of putting it in my hand. No hello or how was your food or anything. When I go out to a restaurant I expect decent food and service but this definitely wasn't it. Won't be back.
Cold food and no follow up "how is your food"
$14 for 2 cokd egfs, bizquut and gravey that I'll need to warm up at home so I can consume it. I took them when I paid that I would never order food again here.

My favorite restaurant in the Quad Cities. Excellent food, hometown service, large portions, good prices. The salad bar is perfect.

Arrived for lunch at 1:15 pm. The place was empty. No salad bar yet. The manager was sitting at a table in the dining area watching videos LOUDLY on her phone, that was very disruptive and obnoxious. The burger was a frozen patty with pre made grill marks on it. The side salad was almost on its last leg, with pieces of yellow/brown leafs and soaky due to what I assumed to be washed salad then placed on a plate in a fridge because the plate was cold too. I ordered Mickey mouse pancakes for my daughter, it came out to be a uneven comparison to Mickey mouse with a burnt piece of bacon. No blueberries for eyes, or anything to even resemble a Mickey mouse pancake. Server dropped are good off with Bill and NEVER returned. Won't be returning and will NOT recommend anyone I know to go there either. No wonder why it was empty, that should have been my sign to turn around and leave.
