Still dreaming about brunch at this farm-to-table gem. From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere made us feel so welcome. The late morning light streaming through big windows gave the space an inviting, lived-in feel. We ordered the Farmer’s Breakfast and the Eggs Benedict, and both dishes absolutely delivered. The simple ingredients were done perfectly: Every bite tasted fresh, hearty, and thoughtfully sourced—comfort food elevated by quality. The Eggs Benedict were impressive. It was indulgent but balanced, rich yet light enough to leave room for another sip of my mimosa.The cherry on top was the staff’s genuine warmth which maked the experience even sweeter. It’s the kind of brunch spot that invites you to stay for the morning and leaves you wanting to come back next weekend.

Rooted is amazing! The food was so original ! Salted Carmel pinnacotta was perfect salty and sweet. Chef Eddie - food was amazing. Service was phenomenal. Decor is so quaint and cute. Love.

Everything was fantastic! Not being a drinker myself I’m always kind of bummed when going to a place like this with such beautiful drinks. Absolutely LOVE that they had a full mocktail menu! The apple spritz was delicious !! The focaccia bread and tallow was the perfect start to the evening . The meal and dessert had some of the best flavor combos I’ve ever had. Tyler was an exceptional waiter. Personable and so attentive! We will definitely be back!

We recently hosted our Christmas party at Rooted in Minooka for a group of 17, and the experience was absolutely fantastic!
The evening began with a stand-up gathering for appetizers and drinks, which was perfect for mingling and conversation. The appetizers were creative and delicious, Brussels sprout bruschetta, lamb meatballs, and spaghetti squash fritters were all crowd favorites. After enjoying cocktails and appetizers, we transitioned to a family-style dinner. One of the best things about Rooted is that you can work directly with the owner and chef to create a custom family-style menu for your event. Our dinner featured braised beef cheeks with carrots and parsnips, and every bite was rich and flavorful.
The drink menu deserves special mention. Some of our favorites included the Hibisco Margarita, Pear Pressure, Vesper Martini, Bourbon Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini. Rooted also offers a seasonal menu of winter and Christmas cocktails, Vixen and Cozy Nights were standouts, but honestly, every drink was excellent.
We ended the night on a sweet note with apple pie and vanilla ice cream, the perfect finish to an incredible meal.
Overall, Rooted delivered an exceptional experience, amazing food, creative drinks, attentive servers, talented bartenders, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. If you’re planning a group outing, special event, or holiday dinner, we highly recommend considering Rooted. We’re already planning to return next year
This is an excellent restaurant. The salmon was perfectly cooked, medium rare in the inside, perfectly crusted on the outside. My wife had the pork loin which we were able to cut with a butter knife. We had the beet appetizer which might have been our favorite dish of the entire night. Not to mention the cocktails which were delicious.. we will definitely be coming again soon!

Sat outside and enjoyed the weather, had the pear pressure cocktail and it was excellent. The burger was truly the best I’ve had in a long time. Emily was my server and she was excellent and even made a few recommendations

This place is truly a hidden gem. I had a plan to propose to my girlfriend over a picnic with their food. (It's her favorite restaurant) They prepared food that would survive a car ride and it was delicious and beautifully prepared. She said Yes so, I cant speak highly enough!
