The last two times I have been here the customer service from the hostesses have been terrible. The first time we had a reservation, they made it under the wrong name and insisted we didn’t have a reservation at all. Once they realized THEY made the mistake they didn’t even acknowledge it or gave an apology. This last time we tried to come in and the host said they had no availability without a reservation. The couple behind us who heard the whole thing came in and she told themShe could sit them at a high top table only and didn’t even try to be quiet about denying my small group but accepting a couple who clear as day said they also had no reservations. Seems like they all might be family friends of the owners since they feel the need to lack customer service skills + basic manners. Not worth the hassle of the attitude from 20 something year old mean girls for below average food.

The atmosphere is nice. It looks pretty. Service was slow. We requested to be seated at a table with chairs as we needed a high chair. We were seated at a half booth half chairs table, which was perfect. The staff brought waters, bread, and menus promptly. And then immediately asked us to move as the table had been requested by another party. Okay sure. We can move. No big. The table we were sat at next was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurant which was nice, but we were forgotten multiple times. Waters ran empty and we were never given a bread refill.We enjoyed that the food was warm, but that is where it ends. The food is mediocre at best and a health hazard at worst. The spinach and egg fettuccini was bland. The specials we ordered tasted like leftovers. The pork wasn’t tender or fresh. We found a small piece of blue plastic in our appetizer and paper in the entree when we got home and looked at the leftovers.For over $100 for four adults, one could go to many other restaurants, receive great service, multiple water refills, and food with flavor (without random bits of plastic).

Clean restaurant and staff was polite. We were unfortunately seated next to a large party and were basically forgotten. Over 40 minutes from the time of order to food arrival. We wanted to like this place but the spinach and egg fettuccine has zero flavor and the gnocchi tasted like store bought not fresh.

Would give zero stars, but wasn't an option. Went there about 6 months ago. Poor service, waitstaff inattentive, blatant racism. Went with a group of friends, had been there before and had a great experience. A waiter actually went up to my African American friend and handed him a paper bag stating "here is your order of collard greens!" (They are NOT on the menu, mind you). We were woefully neglected as patrons and THIS was how our evening ended. We would NEVER go back to any Balagio. That. Is. All.

Outstanding food, from appetizers to entrees. Good service, nice place overall. Never been disappointed there. You can not miss trying Balagio.

The food was good. I had a salad and the chicken vesuvius. All was great, and prices were reasonable.
Wife had spinach and egg fettuccine and said it lacked flavor. I had the veal piccata which was very good. I'd order that again for sure. We split a small Caesar salad which was very good as well. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere.

Came for dinner on December 14 for my grandmother‘s 84th birthday and she left her birthday bag there and we went back to get it and the staff member stole.It took everything out of it put it in the dumpster in the back of the building. We went to go retrieve it. It was one envelope in there with the check in it, and other envelopes were gone and so were her items that was given to her for her birthday. The restaurant claims there are no cameras they don’t know what happened to the items.

Went here for the rememberance dinner for my father, who loved coming here.The service was great. Like really great. Catered to the fickle needs of the kids, gave all sorts of substitution options on entrees, was very educated on the options.Food was very enjoyable. We had a little bit of everything at the table and everyone enjoyed what they got.I know why my Pop liked this place....I wish I was closer to enjoy it more frequently.

They charge a 3% credit card fee before the customer even gives the tender type. Beware: you may be charged a card fee when paying cash or debit because the fee is preemptively added to the bill. Plus, we sat in the bar area for 16 min before we flagged down a server. A total of 5 servers passed our two top multiple times before we asked if we should go to the bar ourselves. Disappointing I have to ask to give someone my money.
