I'm retired and I enjoy lunch at Mokena's Beggars weekly. Today, I order an early dinner pizza at 5:45pm. The Pizza was horrible. It was totally burnt. I've never had any pizza like that served to me. No worker should have ever served a burnt pizza. My time was totally wasted without any empathy or compensation. Totally disappointed in pizza and lack of reconciliation from Management. Do yourself a favor and go to the other pizza places in Frankfort and Mokena.

I am a huge fan of beggars. Love their pizza. This was my first time at this location. Food and atmosphere were good but the service was poor. Took forever to have a waitress visit our table. And, the restaurant was not very busy which was surprising for a Saturday night. Also, the waitress forgot to bring me my drink and I had to find someone else to help me. I saw three servers just standing talking in the bar area. I mistook one of them as our waitress. But, she found our waitress and had her deliver my drink. She did not even apologize for forgetting my beverage. And, it took a while for her to bring us our check. Had the restaurant been busy, I could have understood. But there were probably only four or five other tables occupied. I think some additional training would be helpful.
