My family and I ate brunch here after my son’s graduation. Any time I visit a restaurant i’m not familiar with, I research it. With all the good reviews, I had high expectations of the food and that is NOT what was delivered, unfortunately.
When we arrived, the atmosphere was nice and my family and I were greeted by a wonderful waitress. She was very nice and efficient. She took our orders and brought everything out that we ordered.
This is where my expectations were not what was expected:
My husband ordered a chicken skillet; instead of the dish being served on a cast- iron skillet, It was served on a plate. The eggs seemed under cooked (where in a little bit of liquid) and the potatoes in the “skillet” didn’t have any browning on them and weren’t seasoned. I ordered buttermilk pancakes, with scrambled eggs and grits. My pancakes tasted of sweetened flour, my eggs also seemed under cooked and my grits….. my grits were extremely undercooked. They were beyond grainy and hard and didn’t seem as if they were cooked past a couple of minutes.
My daughter ordered strawberry crepes, and when they were served, there were a nice amount of bananas on top with strawberries in the middle. My parents ordered omelettes, and they too experienced liquid underneath. I ordered turkey sausage for my son with a side of fruit and that tasted good. Overall,
I think the food needs to be revised and the skillets need to be served the proper way.

Good food, good service, reasonable price. It's a little loud at times. That doesn't stop us from going there, though.

My group of eight people were given a corner table and great service with really good food and we’re allowed to stay even after closing. We come from many different villages and are always well suited to this particular morning and afternoon Cafe.

The corn beef sandwich was horrible. There was no meat on it. The bread was burnt and it was overpriced but the broccoli and cheddar soup is really great. I will not be back

I never, ever leave reviews, but I had to for this place.•Restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere. That’s about the only positive thing I can bring from this review.•Country fried steak was not bad, just a little small. Lacked crispness, but tasted alright.•The benches are so uncomfortable we asked to move•The coffee was terrible, and not because they gave me the wrong coffee roast like they did.•The “extra crispy” hash browns I ordered were about as crispy as apple sauce, not one single speck of seasoning were on them, and tasted so bland I didn’t even eat them.•Service was spotty, just didn’t feel much attention to detail was present.•They charge 4 dollars for coffee for each person and it was arguably the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Never seen a company charge for coffee for breakfast unless it was a latte/cappuccino/ect.Just a really disappointing start to our day.

Service was amazing. Location clean and neat. Food lacked flavor. I was very disappointed. I eat out for breakfast a lot and I understand that different cultures have different preferences but whew someone needs to help them choose and flavor their grits. The pancake while large was very bland. I didn't eat it. The meal was a waste of my money. The turkey sausage and hazelnut coffee was amazing. I won't be back because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I eat out often.
