Traveling from Chicago to Omaha and on a Sunday morning and found this place using Google maps.
Did not disappoint.
Nice café with plenty of room and we ordered huevo con chorizo, Mexican breakfast and chilaquiles and all 3 plates were well served and had good flavor. The Google reviews had it at 4.1, but we all agreed that it deserved a higher rating of 4.5 or better.

I have been eating here for years and years. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant and their food is very authentic. They carry my favorite beverage, Mexican coke. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the lunch and breakfast specials. My book club comes every so often and everyone enjoys it. The servers are incredibly kind, patient, and personable. They let me speak Spanish to them and act like I speak it well. It has recently been updated with really cute decorations. Plus, they decorate for all the fiestas. Recently they had a stupendous Día de Los Muertos mural up. I just love this restaurant, their fantastic cuisine and the best wait staff ever.

Been coming here for a while and when I came recently to order the same thing I’ve been getting they overcharged (I believe it was to pocket a tip) and when I called I told them I needed a refund for the difference after looking at all my previous statements on my card being that I get the same thing every single time, nothing more nothing less, she told me she charged extra for the egg I ordered when they never even put egg on my food as well as I don’t like egg on my food. She was very argumentative and said she can’t give a refund for something I ordered when I DIDN’T order egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food is good but if you go please watch out because they will definitely try and scam you and get over to give themselves money out of your money.

Had some errands to run out that way. So me and my daughter decided to grab lunch. This stop was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere, service was quick and they were so polite. Food was great too.

Went there for breakfast this morning, as we have been there before and enjoyed it. Served said hi, and told us to sit anywhere. We sat, and after 10 minutes of no water, coffee, or menus, I went up to the front counter. There were three women all standing there chit chatting. (One referred to one of the others as “mom” so I am assuming they were the owners). I asked if someone could give us menus, so she walked over, gave us menus and asked to take our order almost immediately. We asked for coffee and water and a couple minutes to decide since we had just been handed the menus. She said “sure,” came back with one water and my coffee then didn’t come back again until ten minutes later when we had to ask the bus girl if someone could come take our order. When the server came back we placed our orders and I asked for a water again. She said “sure.” Another ten minutes later she came back with our food. My omelette had two cold slices of American cheese slapped on the top of it and my toast had no butter. And still NO WATER. I asked for butter and if the cheese could be melted (it should’ve been inside). I was told “that kind of cheese doesn’t melt.” She came back with some nice cold butter for my ice cold toast, and again NO WATER. I drank my coffee, nobody ever came by for a refill (at $3.99 a cup they should have), and in fact nobody ever came back to check on us. I had to flag her down for a box and the bill. We will never go back. I don’t recommend it to anyone. Pay a little more and get good food and food service. This place is awful.

This little Cafe was within walking distance from my hotel. Yall know how much I enjoy Mexican food!!!! YAY!!!! I opt for a seat at the bar and order a margarita (I mean, hello? 🙄). The service is quick and friendly and although it was lunch time I was a bit surprised it wasn't more crowded. It's off LaGrange so not sure why it's not? The margar is machine made but ok. At least I don't purse my lips like I do in some establishments. The guacamole is fine too but again, ok. My food arrives and well, it's fine and ok. My friend told me this is a chain? I didn't know that! The beans have little taste and I know! Refried beans usually are tasteless but there are places that serve tasty refried beans. The salsa is again, fine but no fire whatsoever even though I request Caliente salsa. Waiting for my eyes to water and gasping for breath. Not this time. So, if you eat here, the place is fine. The decor is beachy Cozumel and I didn't use the bathroom so no info on that. Service was quick and friendly.

The servers are rude, non-professional, and provide the worst service possible. When I went to pay, I asked for the detailed receipt so I could review it. The server responded with a nasty attitude, “You have to sign the credit card receipt first.” When I asked what the additional $2 charge was for, she replied rudely, *“It’s posted on the entrance door.” Stay away. The severs have always had a bad attitude, but this experience was enough to decide never to return.
