We have become increasingly disappointed over the past several years with the food and service. This last time, we ordered 3 slabs of ribs with sauce on the side. When my husband picked up the order, Saturday 4/20, he received one small brown bag. He asked about the sauce and was told, " It's in the bag." When he returned home with the order, I was amazed at its small size. When I set it out to serve my guests, I asked, " Where is the sauce... didn't you ask for it on the side ( for health reasons for some guests)? My husband said, " She said, 'It's in the bag'." Upset, I responded, " No, it isn't." On top of everything, the ribs were dry and overdone. Great ribs are moist and juicy...regardless of whether they forgot the sauce!

I don't think I enjoyed this meal very much. It's a not as good portillos in my opinion. We got over charged. Asked to upgrade my meal to cheese fries and got an additional fries with cheese and then asked for just a hot dog and got fries with it as well. The fries are not good quality, same fries you would get at a cheap diner. Bread chicken was so thin so was like I was eating just the bun. Very underwhelming. Will probably try one more time to try their ribs but not impressed by this place.

We have been going to Mindy’s for over 25 years when it was in Orland. We ordered food Sunday, April 7th for my dad and his wife. I was shocked by what we were served. I have ordered the Greek salad countless times this time it had no olives, no peppers and the tiniest bit of feta cheese. I would expect much more for the price than lettuce tomato’s and tons of onions. I also ordered a gyro meal I the sandwich was shaved gyro meat again in all my years I have always received slices of gyro, never in my life have I seen gyro meat like this. I was almost embarrassed serving the food to my dad and his wife but thankfully their salads were decent (the only reason I gave 2 stars). The girl at the window seemed new or like she had no idea what she was doing when I ordered. Im sad to say, but after all these years idk if we will be back. We always enjoyed supporting the business but food quality is not what is used to be.

I have been to Mindy’s beforeand it’s really good I really really enjoy it and the food is good too. I love everybody there and the people there are just the best. They have so much respect for me which I really like and the food there has been really good before and the staff is wonderful and everybody there is wonderful and the food there is wonderful I’m very thankful for the staff because they treat me like I’m their friend, which is true and everything there is wonderful. The facility is great and I know Mindy‘s ribs will be in Mokena forever and ever Food is spectacular and everything that I try there is wonderful and it’s a wonderful place to be. I enjoy it and I In my opinion that the food is great everyone there is wonderful, especially the staff. The staff knows you pretty well, but They succeed And The staff their treats you with respect I really really really appreciate it and it’s wonderful
I had the chicken gyro, it was good but nothing about it stood apart from others so that is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. I love the atmosphere of this place, super cute and nostalgic. The service was great and it wasn't crowded. I would visit again if I am in the area.

Place is filthy, crumbs in the crevices of all the upholstered booths. I watched one of the careless service people put a hot plate of chili cheese fries right in front of a 1 year old. I ordered a Polish sausage, and they brought me out a Polish sausage on a piece of bread, no condiments nothing. They clearly don't care.

I went through the drive thru and ordered rib tips with sauce on the side. Plated them at home and made some garlic cheese toast. The tips were okay but a little dry the sauce brought them back to life. When I first moved to this area, I would attend Mindys's frequently. Their food was delicious especially the soup and rib tips but unfortunately over the years and since the pandemic the food has declined so not a super big fan of how they're cooking now my meal was OK but my garlic cheese toast kicked it up a notch . Not sure how soon it'll be before I return, but the food was decent .
