Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage

I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner tonight. The chicken was so dry, overcooked, and had no meat just mostly skin. I'm so sad because I always loved Pop's food in the past.

Worst beef I ever had anywhere yesterday.It was like eating a rag on Italian bread it was so tough.Ate a quarter of it & threw rest in garbage.Never again there.

I like the mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and the decor of Kandinsky painting reprints. If they had gluten-free buns, I could order a sandwich there. Alas, not so.

Ordered zucchini got mozzarella also after paying cash for Gardiner never got it. Girl at cashier not paying attention.

Came in for the double cheeseburger special, asked for the double cheeseburger special, got charged full price.

Got catered for Xmas Eve. Big portions. The lady working the counter handing out the orders had a bit of an attitude. I didn’t get my bread for the order and she didn’t believe me at first. I’m not gonna steal $9 in bread after paying $150 for catering.

Beside the 3 guys in the back cooking who could not stop giggling and looking towards the customers the establishment and whispering things to each other the place looked nice and clean. I got a super Italian beef and asked for hot giardiniera. What I got was a cup full of nothing but jalapenos and one piece of celery. When I asked the girl at the front counter about this she told me "We sell giardiniera if you want some, otherwise that what we make here". She definitely had an attitude and simply offered to replace my cup with the same thing. I've eat giardiniera many time throughout my life. This isn't it. Won't be coming back here. The owner must not care.

Once more- 5 stars reserved- but this is a great Pop's location. I love the beef/sausage combo and their burgers can't be beaten by the BIG chains. Grilled burgers, chicken parm, all great! Service is always fast & friendly, and the restaurant is kept very clean. Can't forget tp mention the Gyros & homemade soup & chili. ?

Great food, they are my go to for the Christmas party I host every December. The chicken and broasted potatoes are the best around. Sometimes the person on the phone can be a bit short with you. Overall it won't deter me from ordering. Great value for the portions!!
