Stoney Point Grill - Mokena

I ordered takeout and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived, the waitress who greeted me seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. Nothing outright rude, but the service felt cold and dry.
After leaving, I read reviews mentioning that a Black couple wasn’t seated due to their race, which made me reflect on whether my own experience may have been influenced by the same bias. I can’t say for certain, but it was an unfortunate thought to have.
As for the food: the burgers were bland, basic, and undercooked to the point of being concerning. The spinach was excessively salty—almost inedible, as if too much salted butter or straight salt was used. The cookie had a gritty texture and was underwhelming; I’ve had far better elsewhere.
Given the restaurant’s strong reviews, this was surprising. Maybe it was an off day, but between the service and the food, it didn’t meet expectations. To be honest, giving them two stars is me being gracious. I won’t be returning.

The prime rib sandwich is fantastic. The meat was soft and super juicy. The bread was warm toasty and soft in the middle. So simple but so good. Bring back the chimichiri steak sandwich! Quality food.

I'm not in this area often, but when I am I will be back here. I love the selection of food. They had a wing deal today and seasonal drinks. The bartender (around lunch time 11/17) was very nice and we loved the pumpkin/apple drinks. Food was awesome.

Saturday night wonderful food! Our server, Shaw, always knows what we like to eat snd drink. Very attentive to our needs. Makes our evening a delightful experiences!

Had my wife's surprise 40th birthday party there last night. Amanda made the process super simple and was there for all of our needs! The food was great and the servers were even better. The servers were very attentive to everyone. My whole party had no complaints about anything, and I couldn't be more thankful to the owner and staff for making our special occasion happen!

American food typical burgers 🍔 and such salmon was good the deserts chocolate cake w side of ice 🍨 cream and whip cream enough to share was very good 👍
